My oil hot water heater leaked and was replaced by [redacted] (lic #BUXXXXXX)on [redacted] with another [redacted] tank. It leaked immediately after Mr [redacted] left, he came back and put a pressure relief tank off to the side. This worked ok till [redacted] when I returned from weekend away to find water on floor.I had [redacted] service man in [redacted] and was informed that tank was not set up properly and that pressure relief tank was in wrong area and filled now with water,and that maybe my plumber should check outside water pressure( which he did and it was fine) remove relief tank and put new valve on. This was [redacted] by plumber [redacted] who told me it could be the Aquastat valve because the tank was too hot and not regulating properly. [redacted] service said I should have the person who installed it to come back and redo or get new tank. I called Mr [redacted] cell XXX XXX-XXXX on [redacted] and last call [redacted] stating problem and asked for return call.On [redacted] I had [redacted] energy come back because tank was still leaking after over three hours in my basement changing and checking any possible parts the tank still was leaking( very costly to me final bill still being prepared )today [redacted] plumber came for hour and replaced pressure relief tank in the proper area off cold water outflow pipe. part [redacted] and hourly rate [redacted] Mr [redacted] has never even returned a call even though he assured me that if anything went wrong with the tank he would stand behind his work and fix it...not even a call saying he was to busy to come by . I feel like I have had several very expensive service calls due to Mr [redacted] lack of good business practice.I will save all concured expenses for Mr [redacted] I am still not sure why he never responded to any of my calls and why he set up the water heater with obvious flaws stated by two service people [redacted] and plumber Bob [redacted] you for taking the time to look into this matter.Product_Or_Service: [redacted]Account_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI feel that several service calls and expenses could have been avoided if Mr [redacted] returned my calls and came as soon as he could to remedy a problem he seems to have created. I paid Mr [redacted] . Not even two years later I will probably be paying out to [redacted] the same amount. I think the professional and responsible action would have been for Mr [redacted] to return my calls and to come back to see if he could remedy the leaking of a less than two year old tank he put in.Business Response My reply to Mrs [redacted] complaint, there is only one years parts and labor on all installed equipment, after I returned and fix the problem adding parts and time at no charge, it was almost 2 years before I heard from Mrs. [redacted]. she called 2 times while I was working out of town , I tried 2 times to call her back, I have the voice mails to prove it and she had stated that she had someone else working on the system. since it was no longer a warranty matter and she had her own service provider working on it. the calls after Friday , we do not answer the phone on the weekend. we are open from Monday to Friday 8am -430 pm[redacted]David Sutton Heating207 Mort Vining rd.Southwick Mass. 01077XXX-XXX-XXXXXXX-XXX-XXXXConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Mr [redacted] did leave two hang up calls Sunday [redacted] and Monday [redacted] on my cell phone while I was at work . There was no voice mail message left to indicate that he would address the problems I was having with the tank that he installed. I did have another service provider come in several times at a large cost to me to try to remedy the faulty work that was done on the tank this was stated but my provider and my seems that the overflow tank installed that second time by Mr [redacted] was installed in the wrong area on the tank leading to a back up in pressure ...this work caused me no initial cost as stated by Mr [redacted] but has lead to large additional costs to me. Reputable companies return phone calls and stand behind their work I called his cell phone and could not understand why he did not at least return the calls . You have my permission to hear all of my messages left on Mr [redacted] phone I have no messages to give to you as their was no voicemais left on my phone. A company should stand behind their work and should at least investigate a problem that is reported to them on a water tank that they installed ..not just say it has been two years and it is no longer my problem. A [redacted] job installing an oil water tank should not have leaking issues two years after installation. I can provide the name of my plumber and the other service provider to the
