I am rejecting this response because:
Infomation provided in the reponse is partially false and misleading, specifically the issue of the vehicle being sold as is and that I allegedly signed some document indicating as such.  I did not sign any documents agreeing to a as is sale. None were presented to me at the time of the sale. Any document that Automax claims is signed by me in regards to a as is document is not signed by my hand. And is a forged document.  I made multiple attempts to address this issue with automax prior to my returning the vehicle. All attempts to reaolve the matter were ignored.  I did advise after the vehicle was returned that I did want my 1000.00 returned because the vehicle sold to me is unsafe and inopperable.   All attempts to address the issues were ignored by Automax.
I was not advised of defered payments untill after I handed the sales rep the 1000.00 and told he could not return the money.  The day  I purchased this vehicle the sales rep was rushing thru the entire deal as he told me no cars had been sold all week and they really needed this sale to close out the week.   I have purchased used vehicles in the past and each time a sales rep and a witnesss/employee of the dealerahip both sign after me.   In this  case I was not presented with any as is documents to sign for this vehicle purchase.
I stand by my claim and want the 1000.00 I handed the sales rep at automax returned based on thier selling me a unsafe defective vehicle. Additionally there were no other indicators shown to me or made available to me indicating there would be no refunds of any kind.
Regards,

Dear Revdex.com,
[redacted] purchased a 2004 [redacted] on 9/24/16. He paid a down payment of $1000.00 and would have another $1,160 00 in deferred payments which were spread out over six weeks. We did not ask for the additonal deferred payment at time of sale He was able to drive off...

with only the $1000. payment. Mr. [redacted] signed a motor vehicle retail installment sales contract along with several other documents which included a buyers guide that indicates he was purchasing the vehicle as is - no warranty. He was given copies of all documents. At the time of sale all documents were gone over with Mr.[redacted] while he was signing. All documents must be signed before customer is allowed to drive off lot We have a copy of his drivers licence, and Social Security card which he gave Automax.Mr. [redacted] had his first deferred downpayment due on 10/08/16 which he did not make After mulitple attempts to collect we had the vehicle sent out for repossession. It was not until we had the vehicle that he called our office to fine out how much he needed to pay to get vehicle back. During this conversation is the first time he expressed problems he was having with vehicle and if there was anything that could be done. He was told that vehicles are sold as is but as a courtesy Automax would look at it and see what or if there was a problem First he would need to be current with his payments for Automax to check vehicle for possible problem If there was an issue that needed to be repaired Automax would offer to repair at cost and add a sidenoteMr. [redacted] did not want to make his deferred payments. He was mailed by regualar and certified a notice of repossession which Automax recieved the signed certifed receipt card back Corpus Christi Automax gave Mr. [redacted] the required time by law to bring his account up to date and pay repossession fee which he did riot. Account has since been charged off.Sincerely,

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE SVER EXPERIENCED! For starters they capitalize on the fact that most people coming here have bad credit or no credit. I myself went here to try and help rebuild my credit. I pay my car note earlier than its supposed to be paid to make sure they have no reason to mess with me. They are far from a reputable dealership and definitely do not stand behind their own product. I would never ever recommend anyone to this place. Look around, I wish I would've. The salesman told me one down payment and upon signing paperwork the manager advised me that it was $500 more down than I was originally told. They will take your hard earned money without hesitation but will act like ur the anti Christ when you call for anything. Never again.

[redacted]Dispute Resolution SpecialistMy name is [redacted] Manager, at Corpus Christi Automax at [redacted] and the purpose of this email is to comply with your request for a response to the aforementioned complaint, [redacted] dated August 24,2016.  Upon receipt of...

your complaint letter, I called the Austin office and inquired as to the reply process and I was told I could reply via email.  I would like the Revdex.com to know Corpus Christi Automax has served the Corpus Christi area for many years and has always been in strict compliance with all Auto dealership rules and regulations.  The customer who filed the complaint purchased a 2006 Chevrolet Impala from Corpus Christi Automax on 7-15-16.  We followed all contractual obligations on the deal to the letter without exception.  The customer test drove the vehicle and was very happy with the vehicle and wanted to buy it immediately.  She signed a very detailed binding contract and each page was carefully explained to her at the time of purchase.  Included in the contract is a very specific page called the "Buyer's guide-As is-NO WARRANTY" page which details in bold letters that the customer will pay all costs for any repairs.  The customer understood and signed the "as is" and also declined to purchase a service contract.  A few days after the purchase on 7-19 the customer called to complain her vehicle had to be jump started.  We told her it could be the battery and agreed to install a new battery at no cost to her.  On 7-21 she called to say the car was once again not starting.  The car was towed to the dealership where it was discovered to have parts like the starter removed from the car and thrown in the back seat.  The customer was told we would attempt to diagnose the repairs and was once again told she would be responsible for any costs involved to which she agreed. On 7-25 a new alternator was ordered.  On 7-26 at 5:24 p.m. the customer was informed of the costs and she said she wouldn't pay it and hung up on our employee.  Nine minutes later at 5:33, the customer called back and agreed to pay the cost through the creation of a side note with $50 payments for a total of $600.  On 7-29 the customer was called and told her car was ready to be picked up. She then proceeded to demand paper work showing the work performed.  She was told we would have a "Good will Repair" document detailing all the work done.  Upon arrival at the lot, the customer was provided the good will repair details which she signed.  On 8-2 the customer called in again saying the car was once again acting up and she went on to say she did not want the car anymore and we could just come and pick it up anytime.  She went on to say she would not be paying anything on the car or the recent repairs.  She went on cursing at our employees and making threats.  Throughout the rest of the afternoon she had several different people ( her friends and relatives) make harassing  calls to our employees with cursing, name calling, and threats.  Late in the day on 8-2, the vehicle was repossessed. We have all the signed documents to back up our side of the story including the declined warranty, As is Buyer's Guide, Goodwill Repair Acknowledgement, and the entire original detailed contract.  In addition to all of this we have detailed notes to document the dates and times of each phone call and what was discussed.  In closing, Corpus Christi Automax did everything possible to accommodate this customer but unfortunately there was no pleasing her and the transaction resulted in a repossession because ,she by her own admission, refused to pay her payments and she refused to pay her repairs. If I can be of further assistance in this matter please feel free to contact me and thank you for your attention on this issue.[redacted] ManagerCorpus Christi Automax[redacted], cell[redacted] Office[redacted]
