As a former business owner in a small town I know the value of good customer service in the company's success. Dissatisfied customers share their experiences with others, and bad business deals go a long way to hurt the company. I have checked with other kennels and they do refund deposits if necessary.
Company states that per their company policy, they will not refund her money, but that they can give her a puppy at a later time and get first pick. Consumer can also have someone else take the puppy and pay her.
