I was immediately rushed to the hospital when we discovered my blood pressure was too high. I was admitted for 5 days unexpectedly and a dealt with numerous situations with numerous doctors. *** came to my room and sat in a chair and tried to convince me to let him be my new gastro doctor. I thanked him for his time and sent him on his way. I never called back or went to his office or received any kind of formal care.
6 months later I received a bill for service with no description. Since then I've tried to contact his office several times and left several voicemails to ask about the charge. He then sent the bill to collections, threatening to ding my credit history. After this I tried calling at least 6 more times during normal business hours. No answer and no return calls.
This kind of practice is absolutely criminal. He is a vulture preying on the sick in this situation. Very disappointing to come across a doctor who's job is to help people, acting this way.

Billing Adjustment There should be absolutely no charge and there are witnesses to the account of *** time in my room at the hospital. No formal consultation or service was had, therefore, there should be no charge whatsoever.
I have received this letter and will contact the patient directly to resolve this matter as any clarification is a violation of HIPAA laws.
