We have worked with Wallace Construction group twice now and been very pleased! Marc and his painting crew did all our outside trim painting and Jose did a large portion of interior painting in our house in a section with incredibly high ceilings in the foyerEverything was done beautifully and with high quality! His crew did a great job of cleanup after too, which is always greatly appreciated by people like my hubby and I who are quite tidy! The owner, project, and quality managers are organized and have good follow up and are nice to work with as wellThank you Wallace Construction group!!

Over the past years Wallace Construction Group has completed three remodeling projects for us: a two story addition in 2007, a bathroom remodel in and a major kitchen remodel earlier this yearMarc Wallace personally saw the oversight of both the two-story addition and the kitchen
The reason we have used Wallace Construction for three projects is that their work is very high quality, but at a competitive priceEverything is done very professionally, with everything in writing to minimize surpriseshomeownerPaul the project manager erected a plastic barrier to protect the rest of the house from the dust created by the kitchen demolitionIt worked great! When we hired Wallace Construction Group (WCG) we hired them for their expertise and to be our advocateBut they only ended up advocating and protecting themselvesWe chose Marc Wallace to complete a very large and complicated renovation of our homeWe chose him initially because he seemed to be a man of his word with integrity, was knowledge in the field and could deliver a quality product at a competitive priceMarc seemed to thrive on finding his customers outstanding deals and got a thrill out of impressing his clients with these finds
However, our experience with Wallace Construction Group proved differentWe put down 4% of the total project with the understanding that this amount would be used towards the architect and Wallace's feesAfter our architectural plans were completed we met with WCG to sign off on the plansAt that meeting we were asked for 36% to start the project which we had no final costings or approved itemized budgetWe told them we would not be putting more money down until we had a final bid sheetWe were assured this process would be completed with in daysThis is were communication started to fail
We were frustrated with how the communication between the parties was happeningIn hopes to work through our frustration we reached out via phone and asked for a meeting to discuss our concernWe were told via email it would be 60-days before they had time to meet with us!! It was "the height of their busy season and they only had time to talk to their customers that were under contract"They had money from us and we considered us to be under contractBut they did not
The unprofessionalism hit a new low when Wallace called yelling at us! Several attempts were made to calm him down as well as schedule another call but we were met with a text message stating all further communication was to go through his attorneyWe were and still are perplexed by this turn of events
After processing through some of our shock we made the assumption that since WCG walked away from the job we would get a portion of our money backUnfortunately, we were again mistaken as we were told that he "completed what we hired him to do" and won't be getting any of our money backWCG did take days to compile an incomplete bid; pulling out of the job just a few days shy of his day promiseBut we had hired him to remodel our home and this process was far from done
We would never recommend doing business with this companyWe hope to save others from the same heartache, frustration and finacial loss we have experienced

Marc and Denise Wallace were tremendous help throughout the entire projectAfter a little negotiating, they were able to persuade my insurance company to replace my entire roof/siding after a large wind storm damageThey completed the project in a timely manner and did a wonderful job They were very flexible with my work schedule and very supportive with completing all the insurance paperwork for usI would definitely recommend Wallace Construction to anyone that needs contract work done to their home

Marc and his team are the most professional remodeling group I have ever dealt withThey were always on time, did their work, never complained and made me feel like we were old friendsThe work they did was A plus and very high qualityEverything was explained to me in a very patient and professional manner that I could understand and nothing was added that I didn't ask for and approveI have decided to have them update my two bathrooms and have asked to be put on their schedule

In Case anyone is still considering filing a claim with insurance to try to get your roof replaced from the recent weather, I wanted to share our positive experienceWe used Wallace Construction, and everything was smooth and easy! Our project manager Chris was excellent throughout the process! He recommended a total roof replacement of the roof even though we were only missing a few shingles, and he was great in working with our insurance company (*** ***)He was here the morning the adjuster came, and he was prepared to advocate for usI was very skeptical that *** *** would agree to do it, but Chris is confident and really knows his stuffWithin a week of *** *** approving the claim, his crew came out and replaced our roofIt only took them one day! We could not be happierI would not hesitate to contact Wallace Construction again in the future
