This letter is in response to your Complaint sent to us on November 30, concerning the Mattress purchased here by *** *** on January 10, 2015, and delivered to her on January 30, We are, of course, very sorry that *** *** is feeling deceived about her purchase with David's Furniture
and appreciate the opportunity to explainShe wanted to purchase this *** mattress, and have it delivered with her new bed, by the end of the monthThis is when Debbie came to me and asked if we could let her have the new one off our floor, since we would not be able to meet her timeframe on a special order from the MfgThis would have taken up to 8-weeks, which would not have met her needsWe keep all our beds covered in the store with top of bed coverings, which protects them at all timesWe would never try to deceive her or anyone, to sell a mattress off the floor, as a matter of fact many customers purchase complete bedrooms and the bedding and have it delivered immediately, without incident Debbie R*** has tried to reach *** *** multiple times, leaving messages, and has not received a responseTherefore, we have not been able to help her with this misunderstandingWe would like to offer *** *** a $refund on this purchase, as a good gesture and want her to know that we value her as a customer.BillSincerely,WHR.Vice President Merchandise Manager
