Review: I had my bathtub and sink re-glazed on 6/*/2013 with the job they gave me 3yr guarantee. But the glaze job is coming off its peeling and bubbling all over sink and bathtub the paint chip's are everywhere. So when I called [redacted] on 9/**/13 he said that he will take care of it, 3 times he gave me appointment and 3 time I missed work today was the 4th appointment that he missed. Now he tell me if I want he can return $50. But 4 months ago he charges $400 I don't want his $50 I wanted for him to come and fix the damaged bathroom sink and bathtub.. But today. I realize that his company is a fraud I will sue him until he or his workers will fix all the damages.Desired Settlement: $400

Response:

Good day. [redacted] is correct that my company reglazed her tub and sink on 6/*/13.At a later point she requested a service call saying that the surface of the sink was rough. I personally went to her home to consider her statement. We corrected the issue and I had assured her that if she had an issue to call me.

In Late September or early October she called me stating that there where bubbles in the sink and she needed service. A bubble in a reglazed sink or tub is due to moisture getting between the glaze and the original surface. For example should a heavy item, razor blade, shampoo bottle, hair dryer fall on to the surface which has been glazed a puncture or chip may occur which would allow moisture under the glaze, resulting in a bubble. Should the bubble break, peeling occurs. If that were the case, service would not be under warrantee, as it is person made damage. That is clearly stated in our warrantee. She says that there are bubbles and chips everywhere.

[redacted] says she called me on Sept. *, which is a Sunday. Honestly, I don't know that she did, but I try not to work on Sundays. [redacted] may recall, when I first went to her home, that I told her I like issues behind me not in front on me, meaning I address any issue almost immediately, not weeks later.

As mentioned earlier, she did call me in late September or early October. The only appointment made was for 10/*/ 13 to access and act on her issue. Although I am one of the owners, [redacted] called my service coordinator, [redacted] and set the same appointment. She called me again and did the same, she called [redacted] and did the same. This was repeated several times. I called her on 10/* and reminded her that it was not necessary for her to continue to call and that a technician would be at her home at 10 AM as she requested.

I guess she took my advice to some extent and then started to call a technician several times and then [redacted] again . These calls where made on 6/*/13, the same day I had asked her not to call any more.

That afternoon, I called her and left a message that I am canceling the appointment as I will not nor my representatives be subjected to her relentless, no purpose calls. Further, in the message I told her I would refund her $200. by mail.

On 10/*/ 13 at about 10:25 AM she called asking where the tech was. I told her about the message I had left and she said she had not listened to any. She asked that I send a tech immediately and I told her I would not and that I don't wish to do business with her because of her on going calls. She asked that I not mail the check and deliver it to her. I did so within 20 minutes. On the $200 check I wrote "end warrantee" . I guess I should add that the check cleared my bank.

I have no idea about a $50 refund and I don't understand her false statements. She notes the purchase price was $ 400 and requests a $400 settlement. Why is she not acknowledging the $200 check she accepted and cashed?

I don't appreciate being called a fraud by some one who blatantly distorts facts such as she did in saying that I offered her $50. As she accepted my $200.company check, with the legend, I view this matter closed and I trust that should she see this , she will have the integrity to recant her statements.

If you wish I will provide a copy of the paid $200 check and copies of the phone records.

Please let me know the outcome.
