This is in response to complaint #12098913.I, [redacted], did in fact go talk to the homeowner, Mr. [redacted]. I told him that my plumber found split and pitted copper tubing going through the concrete beam. In our experience, we did not think it would be cost efficient to the homeowner by...

 chasing an old, rotten line under the concrete slab. It had already been repaired once before and didn't hold. We quoted him a price to fix the problem and he agreed to the work. He also agreed to wait until the following week to come back and perform the work.  We bypassed the old, rotten line and rerouted a new Aqua-pex water line in it's place. The price we quoted in which he agreed to was by the job, not by the hour, which is a standard fee for this type of work. I have questioned a couple of real estate agents about the water line run up to the attic area along the side of the house. They informed me that it will not devalue the property, that in fact the new repairs will be a good selling feature. The air conditioning and electrical services are run all the same way.    We are done completely at the property. I will not get involved with anything else. If Mr. [redacted] wants to tunnel and chase and old line, he will have to get another company to do the work. Not to be disrespectful, but I do not see the concern of his to comment on what kind of truck I drive.Sincerely, [redacted]'s Discount Plumbing P.O. When the consumer rejected our response, he had called us.  We apologized for the misunderstanding.
His remedying team finished their part of the job and then we completed the shower.
We gave him a great discount and he paid the invoice.  The customer is satisfied and this is now resolved.

As per phone conversation with [redacted], David's Discount Plumbing has refunded the consumer $80.

David's Discount Plumbing is truly sorry for the miss communication on this job. In the beginning of his job there was a lot of confusion on weather or not the customer wanted to even start the job and we had plumbers waiting for the customer to decide. When the job was finally started our company...

was so over booked that it was very hard for us to complete this job. We are attempting to complete this job as soon as possible.
