David's Transmission Service & Repair

Review: On May 15, 2014 I got my vehicle back from the David's Transmission shop after transmission rebuild service. The 12 months or 12000 miles warranty was issued by David's Transmission. I mentioned that the shift change handle did not go completely to park position every time. I did not focus on this issue, thinking that this is because of new installed parts. On August 7, 2014 the vehicle broke down and wouldn't move at all, obviously the transmission broke again. I brought it back to the shop for repairs under the warranty which is still effective. Upon my return to the shop on Wednesday, August 13 the problem was fixed, but I was notified that I ought $600 for that repair, which as they said, is a transmission problem, but not covered by the warranty. Moreover, the repair was allegedly perform after my agreement from the phone conversation. I did not agree on any charges, thinking that it should be covered by warranty. Sins the vehicle is commercial and it costs me a lot to have it out of service I could not afford leaving it for a long time at the shop.After negotiation, I picketed it next day on Aug 14, after $400 payment. It should be also mentioned that given receipt with warranty did not include integral information of performed repairs and changed parts (the copy of receipt can be emailed upon request). Even after second request of full receipt they did not provide me one.Desired Settlement: On my opinion, it would be fair to pay me back $400 I payed for the second repair since transmission was still under the warranty and the breakage was inside the transmission.
