Review: I came into the store with a project to discuss. After making a plan, I brought in the item that was to be redone to accommodate more room. It was a simple wooden case that had an inlay that needed to be redone and I was told to expect it to take 3-4 days once started. This was right before labor day so I was told they would be out and not be able to start until the tuesday after labor day. I thought this was fine and left the item having paid for the fabric to be purchased. Told that my item would just need to be paid for in labor once completed. I had the owners cell number and he was fairly responsive at first and I reached out after the first week to confirm that it was started. I was told that it would be started the upcoming saturday, which was the [redacted]. I have since not heard from him and tried leaving multiple messages for him and have had no success. I have read reviews since then that this type of situation has happened before and I am now just wanting my items back but I am getting no response from the owner indicating I can get my item. I gave him notice that I would file a complaint and still, no response. I tried calling from different numbers and it appears my cell number has been blocked while other phone lines can at least get to his voicemail.Desired Settlement: I would simply like my item back, regardless of the current percentage complete. I would happily pay at a fair price for any work completed but I already feel cheated since I paid $50 in cash for the fabric upfront and have not even seen the fabric myself besides a swatch of what we would be getting.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.I was able to get to the store and was given back my item but was told they did not have my money or the materials it would be spent on so I would need to come back today. I do not feel comfortable walking back into the business any longer and am happy to take this small financial loss in order to not deal with this business again and deal with the headache of disappointment getting my money back.
