Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I think that your technicians should know that you do not need a pass code to test a camera or the home buttonThese components can be used with out the pass codeThey worked when we took it in to have the screen replacedThey did not work when we got it backI just want it returned to it's original conditionI understand about transferring pics and musicHer I-pod is personally engraved with her name on itI want to keep this one, not replace it with some used i-podI have no problem paying for the new screen as that was what the repair was originally aboutI'm frustrated that it can not just be fixed Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I understand and appreciate your frustration with the situation with the iPod The symptoms described by Mr*** during our conversation (the home button does not click) indicate that the contacts beneath the physical button are worn out When the home button is worn out on an iPod, the only option to repair it is to replace the charge port, which requires micro-soldering equipment that we do not have in the store I have arranged to send the iPod to a third-party for repair At the same time, they will replace the rear camera on the device This process takes - days, including shipping time back and forth to the repair center When you bring the iPod into the store, please speak only with Scott D***, the store manager, or with myself Neither of us will be in the store on April 24, but Scott will be in April 25- Please ensure that the battery is fully charged so we will be able to test all the functionality while you are here.
