Review: I had Davies Heating & Air install a new unit, which I paid over $5000.00 for only to find that the electrical was not done properly, which caused the unit not to function properly. I am the landlord of the property where the unit was installed and this caused the bill to go beyond 300 dollars for almost four months due to the faulty connection. When I finally called the company, they took several days to respond to my request to come out and look at the faulty unit. They never attempted to compensate me in any way for the unit not being properly installed. So to be fair to my tenants, I deducted 400 dollars off the rent for them having to pay over 1200 dollars in energy bills for the unit not running properly due to incorrect installation. They finally did send out someone to fix the electrical, but since it was the end of winter I will not know until next winter if the heat pump is actually now properly installed. Also I asked that the old unit be left because it was still a good working AC unit only to find that it was gone when I went to pick it up. When I called Davies, they said that they were certain that they left it.Then later on another occasion with this same unit, it was not blowing cold air. I had just replaced the air filter about 3 weeks prior to calling them about the unit not blowing cold air. They came out to look at the unit and said that the filter was clogged and caused the coil to freeze. I told the office clerk that I had just personally replaced the filter not even a month ago. So they did whatever was necessary to the frozen coil and billed me another 75 dollars on 7/16/2015, does not say whether or not filter was changed on invoice. Were also occasions where I asked the office to have the owner/manager give me a call and I would never get that call or get it days later. Also, whenever I get an invoice from them, usually very vague. There is always important information missing specifically, what technician did the work and a clear explanation of work done.Desired Settlement: At least have this last 75 dollar bill charged off and find out if the filter was replaced since it was not replaced at time of new install. Why would a company install a new unit and leave an old filter knowing that it could cause problems with the unit. I never asked for anything concerning the improper installation, but I want to be treated somewhat fairly as the customer. I had them do another install years back and had no problems, but this second experience has be awful.
