Read the other reviews! They are all true! Davie, or David Knight, is a conman. When we worked with him to design our backyard, he was amazing. In person, Davie acts like he understands and will bring a professional spin to your projects. He assures you his crew can handle your requests, makes suggestions that make him appear knowledgeable, and even throws in small things for “free”. He backs this all up with his 5 year warranty. His crew left several issues behind, including: sprinkler leaks, drip line cuts, dead plants, crooked concrete stairs, two laughable gate creations, crooked fence posts, missing stepping stone, missing sprinkler addition (resulting in new sod dying in patches), and exposed drip lines. When we tried to contact Davie, he was nearly impossible to get ahold of. He no longer readily answered on Facebook, text, email, or by phone. The contract means nothing to Davie. Worst of all, no matter how Davie treats you, he is only interested in the money When he would respond (days or weeks later) he would agree to meet, but cancelled several times in the process. When he did finally show up, he assured that the work would be completed and the repairs would be fixed. Davie is one of two things, he is either in over his head, or he is a confidence man. He truly does build confidence in person with lies, or he truly believes he can get it done but in either case his work never gets done. Read the other reviews, this is all true. Our biggest mistake was paying him, with the confidence he was going to come back and finish small things that he promised. Please understand this is not about the money, Davie wanted 20k for the job, at best he accomplished 10k worth of work. Davie’s crew completely destroyed our sprinkling system, left leaks to be fixed by one of his workers (“Dillon” who was cool by the way). Everything that was done was done without Davie when he is the one who promised the work personally and made it sound like it was all going to work out. Trust is the most important aspect of dealing with people and you absolutely cannot trust Davie Landscaping. Here’s why; the price that you pay is not the work that is accomplished and no matter how Davie treats you, he is only interested in the money, just wait if you deal with him and see! All we want are small fixes that were in the contract and not taken care of, he asked for the last check saying he will come and fix these things and built confidence, only to not be a man of his word. Last but not least, forget about going to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) Davie obviously could care less about his F rating, or getting back to the people he has already conned!
