as you know you originally came in on 7/26/19 during our sale and your trade was in really bad shape and unsafe to drive. At that time you wished to purchase a 2016 Nissan Rogue and we negotiated with you for hours and we let you take it home to make sure you liked it. You then came in on Saturday the 27th to purchase it. You left here happy with your purchase. Then on Monday 7/29 you came back with your sister and you had concerns you could not afford it. At that time I met with you we negotiated a deal on a less expensive Certified Preowned Focus with a lower payment, better warranty that you took delivery of on the 29th. At no time were you pressured. I hope you are enjoying your new vehicle and we are here to provide quality service if you need anything. Thanks Jim D

Received flyer today, 7-27-19 indicating that we had won a 1:60,000 chance of a 50 inch TV. Called Davies, as directed on flyer, was confirmed that we won, I have this on continuous video recording of my call. We were given an appointment time and told to contact "Mr Green" on arrival at the dealership. No purchase necessary. The info on flyer indicated that the event was for next week, but the person on the phone said to come down today. We did, No actual appointments, no "Mr. Green - the man there said that they were "all" Mr Green. He took our flyer and asked if we were buying anything. We answered no & he handed us a scratch off ticket & and a coupon card for an obscure restaurant, NO TV. he said our number didn't match the board. THIS WAS ALL A SCAM. EVERYONE THERE THOUGHT THEY HAD WON SOMETHING. Whats a joke on us.

We made an emergency stop to Davies Ford in Charleroi, PA on October 12, 2018 after the camper van we bought in Somerset, PA experienced issues involving the rear brakes. At that time, we felt well taken care of by the Shop Foreman and were grateful that they were able to service the vehicle (rear axle seal, brake shoes and cylinders) and get us on the road the same day. He assured us while we were there that since we were being serviced at a Ford dealership, the work being done would be under warranty at any Ford dealership in the U.S. He also re-confirmed this when I called him on October 20, 2018 to advise him the rear axle seal was leaking again.

Upon taking the van to another Ford dealership in Buckner, KY, it was determined that aftermarket parts were used by the Charleroi service department for the repair. We were not aware of this and based on the information provided by the Shop Foreman, we assumed any follow up service needed as a result of this repair this would be warrantied by Ford. The KY Ford dealership was not able to perform warranty service due to the aftermarket parts that were used and thus we incurred additional repair costs of $946.70.

We have filed a complaint with Ford but have been told that this particular dealership is privately owned and makes it's own decisions on how to resolve complaints. Based on their Revdex.com rating of "F" and the fact that they don't respond to Revdex.com complaints, we are exploring legal options at this time.

During the week of August 6, 2018, my 87 year-old mother received a flyer in the mail from Davies Ford that had a "Money Carlo" lottery ticket on it. The directions stated "To play, simply lift tabs on card. If you have matching pair you win." My mothers card matched 3 sevens to win $5000.00. There was a phone number attached and a confirmation code. I called the number and asked if this was an avertising ploy. The operator stated "no" and wanted to know when I'd go to pick up my winnings and to ask for the General Manager. The small print does not say an additional drawing or anything to say that the card was not a winner. I went to the lot where directed on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at noon. Upon my arrival a man who appeared to be a senior citizen and possiblly intellectually delayed was speaking to two men who appeared to be working. The man kept saying he wanted the money. A man finally came up to me and asked if I needed help. I showed him the flyer. He said I needed to check additional numbers on a board, I did and was not a winner. He took the flyer from me and offered me another scratch off ticket and a $2 bill. He stated that this was in the fine print. It was not. He threw my mothers flyer in a bin. I went to retreieve it and he stated that I could not do that due to confidential information. I said yes, its my mothers information and I was taking the flyer back. He stated that I could either have my flyer or the scratch off and the $2. I kept the flyer and I think its deceptive in nature. I informed the men that were working that I was contacting the FTC and the Attorney General to make a complaint about this practice. As I was leaving, one of the men chased me in the parking lot and said he didn't want me to be upset, offered me a $50 gift card and said that many people were upset. I did not accept the gift card. He blaimed the Attorney General for making a change to the flyer that caused the confusion. He identified himself as the the organizer of the sale. Stated that his father and he run these sales. He said he was from ***. I informed him that I felt that this was deceptive, false advertising, and seemed to target senior citizens. He stated that it did not target older people, however all the people there were senior citizens that he identified as being upset. He said the people who received the flyer were those in certain area codes or zip codes. I stated that could not be the case because I live at the same address as my mother as does my 29 years old nephew. Neither of us received the flyer. This appears to be targeted, deceptive, and fraud. I am informing the FTC because I believe this company is doing the same to others and itt should be stopped. I have the flyer if it is needed for review.

I purchased a 2009 Scion in October of last year and 3 days after the purchase I realized the air conditioner wasn't working. My son took it to the service dept. and was told the repair was going to cost $600 and asked how he wanted to pay for it. He told them to back up and that I had just bought the car 3 days prior. They then decided to fix it at not cost to me. The transmission started to act up, so while going through the glove box to find the warranty, I found a body repair receipt in the amount of $3,795.15. I took my car to another body shop just to see what all damage had previously been done to the vehicle and found that the frame has been repaired in 4 places and the whole back end had been replaced up to the back seat. Now it becomes a safety issue with the frame being compromised. At this point I realized I had purchased a vehicle at the going price and now it was worth pennies on the dollar as to what I paid for it. My son and his friend had asked a service man at Davies Ford if the car had ever been in an accident and he replied "Maybe it had a little fender bender". I asked Davies Ford for the full purchase price back, or $2,500 and a year bumper to bumper warranty which they declined both stating I could trade it in for another vehicle on their lot. I bought the Scion because it was the specific vehicle I had been looking for and they didn't have another one on their lot to trade it in for. Back to the transmission, they did take care of it but not until arguing back and forth. The transmission still isn't shifting correctly. I have been working with the Attorney General's Office since April and the Attorney from that office I have been working with stated that he agrees it is 100% wrong in what was done to me by Davies Ford. He stated that he cannot make them refund my purchase price or give me the $2,500 and a year bumper to bumper warranty since he isn't a Judge and only a Judge can do that. He has phone me twice to see if I have filed charges and going before a Judge. I just yesterday (August 14, 2018) received a letter from him again stating that I can take it before a Judge. I fully intend to call our District Magistrate today to get the particulars on how to file. Toyota of South Hills took care of the repairs of the transmission but had to make trip after trip there because of Davies Ford declining some of the cost of the repairs. *** was great to deal with and they actually apologized to me for the trips and time I had to spend because of Davies Ford declining payment and then changing their mind. I cannot even believe what Davies Ford put me through. *** even gave me a loner car and didn't charge me the few dollars a day that they normally charge since they felt so bad about what Davies Ford had put me through. Davies Ford is claiming that they didn't know it had been wrecked. The repairman that I took my vehicle to showed me a large sticker on the back hatch at eye level that shows Toyota Repair Parts. The car fax showed no accidents but while at the Body Repairmans Shop an insurance agent was there looking at another vehicle and stated that Car Fax is not a reliable source and Davies Ford should know that. It is a wrong done by Davies Ford and needs to be righted. The repairman that rode with me from *** stated that the Scion should have been totalled and not resold. How safe is my vehicle if I were to get hit in the rear?

Dealership sent a deceptive flyer out to potential customers, called Montey Carlo game. The game says if you match certain symbols you will win either $25,000 cash, $5,000 cash, $1,000 cash or $100 cash. The brochure also provides a number to call with a confirmation code in case you win. When pulling the tabs it indicated that I won $5,000 cash. I called the number on the brochure and they verified I was a winner and gave me a time and address to go to, to collect my $5,000. I read the fine print on the card and while there seemed to be an additional step for any $25,000 winner, there was nothing clear to state that you would not get your prize if you showed up to the location. The language does talk about each card being protected by a confirmation code and that they would have to verify your confirmation code off a board to verify that you won, but does not ever state that only one of the alleged winning cards was actually a winner.

The dealership sent what appeared to be a game of chance to me in the mail. Upon arriving I discovered they were scamming people and handing out scratch offs that were not sanctioned by the PA gaming board. Since a verified independent company like the gaming board was not involved, there's little way of knowing if this shady bait and switch tactic will have any winners. I feel duped and belittled by the dealership. I hope the dept of revenue looks into them.
