at his place of business. I found out he is on the "Wall of Shame" at the Suffolk County Department of Consumer Affairs and has a history of bad ocnduct and operating without a license.
When I posted warnings on social networking sites so that other consumers are scammed by this complany, thw owner [redacted] threatened to do harm to my family and property. This individual has no respect for the law and does not care that he is stealing money from people.

Review: I contacted [redacted] owner of Davila's Landscapers to work on my backyard in April 201*, we agree on the price of $825.00, he asked for half ($*00.00) as down payment. He was scheduled to start on */**/201* he never showed up, I had to called him a number of times to find out that he will not be able to make it because he didn't get all of the plants, he reschedule for Monday the ** then Tuesday **, he text me late on Tuesday 5/** to informed that he was in an accident, but didn't say anything about the job. That was the last I heard from him. I was eventually contacted by [redacted] claiming to be his secretary and she told me that [redacted] left the country because of a death in the family, but she was now re assigning crews to complete the work and they will be at my house on May *, nothing happened. That was the last time I heard from them. I sent a number of letters to his PO Box, text him, and left a number of voice mails, but still nothing. He showed up to the client that recommended him, and he asked her to pay me and he will do some work at her property that will cover the $*00.00, the person said no, so [redacted] said that he will be calling me to take care of the problem. Two weeks have gone by, and still have not heard from him.Desired Settlement: I just want my deposit back ($400.00) since I had to hired some one else to do the work.

Review: I contracted [redacted], [redacted] to put in a sprinkler system at my home. He asked for 1/2 the money upfront to purchase the plumbing supplies in advance. I gave him the money and received a receipt for the cash. We scheduled a date which he cancelled. Re-scheduled over and over and now he doesn't return calls and hasn't returned money either.Desired Settlement: I want my money returned.

Review: The business, Davila's Landscaping,entered into a contract to repair a sprinkler system and install sod. They took a down payment in the amount of $5,800 and refused to answer phone calls and follow through with the work that was paid for. After a month they stated they do not have the money anymore and cannot complete the work.Desired Settlement: Return all monies.
