Davinci Concrete

Review: We recently hired [redacted] of Davinci Concrete for a patio/walk way job. After signing the contract and giving him the deposit it all went down hill. Everything from the design we discussed, curves of steps, heights of steps and walk ways, even how far he needed to dig down per basic concrete code. He basically just removed the top layer of grass and tried to pour concrete over 1" of crushed stone (told us it would settle into the ground). He even tried to use recycled broken down stones and dirt as fill, which is UNACCEPTABLE. He only works 2-4 hour days and doesn't show up half the time. DO NOT USE DAVINI CONCRETE! NEVER EVER!He has breached contract on several point. 1-Completion time. 2-Proper Material 3-Not using 4" of crushed stone per his written contract. 4- No proper moisture barrier was installed against home for concrete step install.Please note contractor has multiple addresses available online and other negative review ([redacted])Davinci Concrete, Inc[redacted], Pa [redacted]Desired Settlement: We have given him a $2900 deposit. We are asking for a reasonable partial return of the funds. He worked a total of 4 days over the past few weeks all less than 4 hours. Brought a dozen 2x4's, 2-small drops of crushed stone (one of proper fill, one of dirty recycled fill), removed the old slab (10x16), and one sheet of plywood. NOT $2800 worth of time and material. We have also returned all materials to him and tools to him.
