Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 11, 2016/10/20) */ Mrs [redacted] came into our office and was accompanied by her significant otherImmediately upon entering the exam room, the patient stated that she did not want to be here because she knew what was wrong and that she knew what we do wouldn't workThe patient furthermore stated that she did not want to receive any decompression treatments because she had had them before and they didn't help herAfter a short conversation and explanation of what we do here and how it is different, patient decided to proceed with the examination and the treatmentsThe patient did not complete her decompression treatmentShe only lasted less than one minute and told us she did not want to have anymoreThe technicians took her off decompression and finished her cold laser treatment Patient came back two days later to hear her results and receive the other treatments that were included in the offer we had ran in our ad in the paperHer significant other did not come for this appointment even though we asked him to join usUpon entering the room, the patient was already hostile towards our companyI had addressed the soreness that she experienced and the patient described what she felt from our treatmentsAs I started to explain what I had found with the examination and x-rays, the patient started to get more hostile because I wasn't explaining the x-rays firstSo I told her that I would get to her x-rays shortly but first want to explain what I had found and what was going on with her healthShe interrupted me by saying she just wanted to see the x-rays and didn't want any other treatmentsThe patient also stated that she already knew what was wrong with her and how we couldn't help herI then told her that if she didn't want our help that is ok and if she wanted a copy of her x-rays that she would have to pay a [redacted] fee for copying her x-rays for herShe got irate then stormed out of the office without saying anything to the front desk about the x-rays In conclusion to the letter we received, if Mrs [redacted] wants to come by and sign the release that all of our patients sign for release of records; we would be happy to make a copy of her x-rays on a disc for the same price that all patients pay which is [redacted] Furthermore, Mrs [redacted] received a complete history and consultation, a thermography scan, a computerized range of motion scan, diagnostic x-rays, plus a cold laser therapyEven though she did not complete the decompression treatment, a refund of the [redacted] will not be given due to the fact she received all of these services Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 13, 2016/10/22) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The Dr. NEVER said he would go over the x-rays with me and NEVER offered them to me for [redacted] I did NOT storm out of the office> The Dr. said if I refused anymore treatments, he would not talk to me. I have had decompression treatments in the past, I know they do not help me and I would have never wasted my money.
Yes, my significant other did join me the first day, per MY request. He did not join me two days later since he had to work. NO ONE said he needed to be there. Before I left the office the first time, I advised them I did not want any other "treatments". Yes, I want my x-rays, a letter explain what was found with the thermography scan and the computerized range of motion scan. I do not feel like I should have to spend more money to receive them.
