To Whom It May Concern: In regards to the above complaint Davis & Davis did tell Mr*** that there was a $charge to come out after hours and weekends when he first called on 1/13/ I explained it would be late when our plumber arrived as he was on another job He
actually scheduled for a first call on Saturday, 1/14/ We cannot run “free” calls and he was, by his own admission, told that on the phone before a plumber was dispatched When the plumber was ready to leave the lady who was there signed our work ticket and he paid with a credit card That was on Saturday morning. He called the office on Monday telling me that he wanted his money back and again I explained the $charge was for nights and weekends He told me at that point he was going to contact Revdex.com I told him I was sorry for the confusion and he hung up. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.When plumber replaced faucet  he, no one else removed wall sink from wall bracket and same plumber reinstalled into wall bracket. Davis and Davis should not be members of Revdex.com they accept no responsibility and at the. Very least owe us a refund of work done on 5-4-2016.   We will continue to publicize their refusal to assume responsility. For that customer service woman to talk about a 30 dAy warranty is ridiculous!  That wall sink was in wall bracket for years and the only person to take it out of bracket was their employee. We continue to feel they have terrible customer service and will share  this fact with everyone. Awful company

[redacted]  I did not call Monday with my complaint I called Saturday the day the plumber came to my home. She did explain there was a 125.00 fee for nights and weekends but did not explain that the plumber would come out and confirm my complaint by saying the pilot lite will not stay lit and that he cant reach anyone in "Tech support" because they do not work on weekends. His comments on the receipt go on to say "Have to wait till Monday to check warranty and support" I thought they were tech support that's why I called them. The guy did not take one screw out or look at anything other than try to lite the pilot and to report the pilot will not stay lit. That was my original complaint and I did not tell her on the phone I was reporting her to the Revdex.com nor did I hang up on her. She was very argumentative and I said I'm not going to argue about it and she said OK and we ended the conversation...

Our plumber was out on 5/4/16 and replaced a faucet on a lower lever lavatory wall hung sink.  We completed job and everything was fine at that time and customer paid their bill.  Please note there was not support for the sink, either legs or vanity.  She told me the sink had legs...

then called me back and said there were no legs.  All of our work orders have stated on the bottom “ALL CLAIMS FOR CORRECTIONS MUST BE MADE WITHIN A 30-DAY PERIOD”.  We did not hear back from our customer until 6/27.  She stated that on 6/25  her sink had fallen off the wall and shattered to pieces.  There was no logical reason for that sink to fall after hanging there for 56 days.  We did not insult her in any way, but offered to send a plumber out to look at the situation and told her that if it was something we did, even though it was beyond the 30-day period, we would make repairs or replace sink.  I asked if it was possible someone had leaned on the sink or put hands on sink to maybe look in mirror (not sure if there is one or not) and she said that was an insult.  It isn’t, and it happens frequently with wall hung sinks. She had already contracted a plumber to come to her house the next day even though I offered to send a plumber out again and she was adamant.  She only wanted us to pay for repairs done by new plumber.  At that point there was nothing we could do.   I called her at a later date to let her know we were terribly sorry for her situation but we did try to take care of it.  All she wanted to know was “are you going to refund my money and pay for the repairs I had done?”We are terribly sorry for this situation but did everything we could to correct.  If you need additional information, please feel free to contact me at your convenience[redacted]Davis & Davis Plumbing6400 N.
