this since May When Mr*** came to *** *** & Automotive, LLC in July with A/C problems *** told him that the parts would be between $800.00-$this did not include labor*** did say the parts would come with a warranty, but did not say a lifetime warrantyI have attached the receipts where the parts were bought so you can see the warranties on each partWhen it comes to the truck being here for weeks before completion we can’t approve or disapprove thatSince this work was almost a year ago and we’re a busy shopWhere, Mr*** states that he questioned his bill that is trueAll of our customers have to pay their invoice before their vehicle can leave our shopI have attached the invoice that includes labor and parts’ verifying the amount Mr*** was chargedIt also shows where he signed and dated the mechanics lien/ invoice Yes, Mr*** did return in October and the compressor had failed*** showed Mr*** that the compressor had separated, which means it was a faulty compressorSince the compressor was under warranty we replaced it with a new oneI have also attached that receipt that shows where we returned it and got a new oneOn that receipt it also shows the remaining warranty on the new compressor*** checked the A/C system before Mr*** truck left the shop and it was in good working conditionMr*** was not charged any labor for these servicesYes, Mr*** did return againIt was an electrical problemThe engine wiring harness to the compressor had rubbed against the engine block and chaffed the wire resulting in it shorting out*** repaired the wiring harness and the checked the A/C system again which it was in good working condition before the truck left our shop againMr*** was not charged any labor for these services eitherWhen Mr*** A/C system failed again he should have returned to *** *** & Automotive, LLC to have his parts warrantedFaulty parts are not uncommon and are a part of life All Murray A/C compressors come pre-charged with oil in themIn this instance this compressor came with PAG oil in itAlso our machine a Mastercool Model will add or remove oil as neededGoing back to the receipts that I have attached you will see all the parts we put on Mr*** truck have a warranty on them*** *** & Automotive, LLC does not use used partsAll filters were also changed as you can see from the receiptsThe filters are the orifice tube and the drier/accumulator*** *** & Automotive, LLC did not do any faulty work on Mr*** F* *** & Automotive, LLC should not be held responsible for faulty parts and Mr*** incompetence to not get his parts warranted
