I received the complaint from Keturah regarding her job search and I just wanted to explain the situation. Last year I had a business development manager named Bryan was doing outside sales for me. His job was to get new clients and grow the business. We fired him immediately after...

finding out he was committing fraud. He did pose as a church board member and interviewed Keturah. This was unknown to me at the time. We found out later it wasn’t a church board member as I called the church to get everything set up for her first day. They had no one working there by the name Greg Z[redacted] and did not have a receptionist position. Around the same time Bryan told us we won the [redacted] account and forwarded me an email from the HR manager. Knowing that we would have to go through their corporate office and be an approved vendor I was skeptical. Upon further investigation and calling the downtown [redacted], I was told they have never heard of Bryan and the HR manager that sent me the email hasn’t been there in months. I confronted Bryan immediately and he confessed to posing as clients and filling out fake job orders because he had a hard time getting new clients and didn’t want to get fired for not bringing in sales. I fired him immediately and called the associates that we had lined up to go to these “fake jobs” and told them the clients cancelled and that we would work on finding them something else. Since Keturah was on a trip I waited a day until she returned to tell her that the position never existed and that my sales person was the person she really interviewed with. Because I felt terrible about what had happened I offered to pay her $12/hr for 2 weeks to help her out. I told her to call all the Express offices and even reach out to competitors to find work quickly. I did not have any other office jobs available that she would be a good fit. We had a call center position available but they require medical collections experience. Keturah was asking for $12/hr and we just didn’t have anything available for that rate in an office setting. We have tried to get Keturah an office position at her salary requirement of $12/hr or higher. My business is 80% industrial and 20% administrative staffing. Of those administrative positions we have higher end job orders such as paralegals and accountants that she does not qualify for. If we receive an administrative position that is at the $12/hr range she has to compete with other candidates which have extensive administrative experience. She is not the only person applying to these jobs. If we receive a front office coordinator position that pays $12/hr we have multiple candidates to choose from. Unfortunately she has not been selected for any of these positions. I attached a few jobs that we offered to Keturah but the client passed and chose another candidate. The [redacted] attachment is me sending her info over to a client called “[redacted]” which was looking for a certified activities director. They told me she is not certified and couldn’t do the position. The text message attachments are our conversations over the past few months with the work we did trying to find her something. During this time she was calling our corporate office and saying that I haven’t found her a job and that we are frauds. Unfortunately I don’t create the jobs, I just try to give my clients the best candidate. It is her responsibility to do her part and reach out to multiple avenues for employment. We are just one avenue in her search.  All Express offices are locally owned and operated. Calling the corporate office does nothing as they are just support for the franchisee’s. We do have lower paying industrial jobs ranging from $8.25-$9.00. If she wants to do those we would be happy to put her to work. However she is not qualified for any of my higher paying industrial positions.                 The jobs below are what we have available currently. She is either not qualified, not a good fit, or the pay is too low for any of them at the moment. 1.       Accounting Manager- $55k2.       Bankruptcy Paralegal- $45K3.       Class A CDL- $18/hr4.       Material Handler- $18/hr5.       Maintenance Manager- $18/hr6.       Chef- Upscale Restaurant- Want Experience7.       Dessert Plater- Upscale Restaurant- Want Experience8.       Dishwasher- Upscale Restaurant- Want Experience9.       Shift Manager- Upscale Restaurant- Want Experience10.   Entry Level Opportunities- Minimum wage jobs- $8.15/hr11.   Host/Hostess - Upscale Restaurant- Want Experience12.   Roofing Labor- $10/hr13.   Server/Waitress- Upscale Restaurant- Want Experience14.   Light Industrial- Part Time- $9/hr15.   Litigation Secretary- $45K16.   Machine Operating- Rubber Injection Molding- $11.35/hr17.   Color Matcher- Paint Industry- $10/hr18.   General Labor- Setting up events downtown- Lift 50-100lbs- $9/hr19.   Food Production- $8.50/hr20.   Laundry Associate- Sorting Laundry- $8.25/hr
