Review: Davis Oil sent an employee to clean my furnace. The cursory nature of this job did not reveal a serious crack in the device which led to fumes escaping into the house. I called Davis to have the problem rechecked and employee said the furnace was running "rich." There was no other problem. Fumes continued to enter the house. I called another company [redacted] and immediately their technician disabled the furnace declaring it to be a health hazard. I had to rush and buy a new furnace in a day because the weather was getting cold. I wrote to David Oil demand9ng a refund of the money I spent to clean the furnace and never received an answer. I want my money back. [redacted] tech said it looked to him as though the furnace had not been cleaned at all.Desired Settlement: Davis refunds me on my credit card for shoddy cleaning job/ send s a check for the amount.

Davis did clean her furnace in September 2014, and notified her that it should be replaced due to rusted out heat exchanger in blower compartment. Our service tech did agree with the other companys findings when the customer asked us to be present when the other company was looking at the system. We hadn't heard of the customer being unhappy with our company who continued to purchase fuel oil, until we received a letter on June 18, 2015. In the letter the customer stated if we wanted to keep her business, she would like a refund. We apologize for her being unsatisfied, but felt we handled the situation fairly. We will however, be issuing a refund to rectify the situation. If you need any further documentation please contact us.

davis oil has been our oil delivery co for 15 years they are decent people and are willing to help you out anyway they can. they do not rip off people and will give you a break if your in a bind
