October 20, 2015Dear ***,In response to your letter dated October 15, regarding [redacted] We installed a new sump pump in her residence on April 8, Approximately five months later she is claiming that the pump is not functioning properlyWe told her that we would have to look at it just as soon as our schedule permits and that we would call her to let her know when that would be [redacted] then proceeded to regularly call my office trying to force us to get there sooner than our schedule would permitThe last call she made to us included a threat that if we were not there by a certain day and time she was going to slander us on the internet and other venuesI do not take threats lightly and I will not respond to a person who reacts that way.If she wants me to personally take a look at the pump, two things must happenFirst, she must apologize for the threatSecond, she must pay her balance in full for unrelated work we did for herIf both of those conditions are met, I will gladly take a look at the pump and if a problem exists that was not caused by circumstances within the structure we will replace said pump via manufacture warrantyKeep in mind manufacturer warranty only covers the pump, labor is not coveredIf I can be of any further assistance please let me know.John Z

I am rejecting this response because: The very first item I noted in my original complaint was the fact they put the sump pump in my home in AprilYes it was several months earlier but unlike a repaired stoker that you know whether it works or not immediately, the only way I knew this did not work was when it poured and water began to go into my basementThis did not happen for several months after they installedCheck the weather reports from April until now and you will see what I meanAlso, not once did MrZola himself or ANY worker call me within the two weeks I kept calling the officePlease explain to me why my basement flooding was not as important as everyone else's issues? I have VIDEO evidence including a few days ago of the pump in question NOT WORKINGIf anyone should apologize it should be MrZola for ignoring my calls forTWO WEEKSEven a courtesy call from any of the workers asking me what was wrong would have been appreciated but my calls were just ignoredAs far as the bill I owe, I concur that I owe $for the cleaning of my stokerPlease do not let MrZola make you think this is an old bill because it is not This invoice was conveniently sent to my house the Monday after the second week of my callsIn fact the day the Zola worker cleaned my stoker my boyfriend asked him to look at the sump pumpHe did and when he did he said, "There was just dirt on it." Clearly this was not the case because a few days later it poured again and the pump again did not workSo a Zola worker had already looked at the pump AFTER it was not working and until this moment it is still NOT WORKINGAt this point I DO NOT trust MrZola or any of his workers to do an honest job and do not want them in my houseI want another plumber to look at this and see what is wrong with it because clearly this pump is not workingI absolutely will not allow them in my house at this point and it MrZola who should be apologizing for allowing my home to continue to be flooded without any regard for a customer of almost years.

If she didn't threaten me it would have been done already.As she stated we have worked for her twenty years. We are reliable, responsive and respected.The fall season is our busiest time of the year with no heat calls and system change outs. People without heat is our first priority always. I will not let someone have no heat or hot water for showers because someone's basement is taking on water. In closing, if [redacted] wants me to look at the pump I will.
