Davis Plumbing & Heating

About years ago we had a [redacted] water heater installed at great expense by 'davis plumbing' due to the side fittings on our wood burning unitLast month this relatively new water heater began to leak from a hole in the bottomI called and the secretary picked upShe was unwilling to look up our warranty claiming they didn't keep records by name or address, only install dateShe was dismissive of me and sarcasticI told her I was writing a review and asked her what shed like it to sayFinally she said she'd send someone out but got really defensive when I told her my address and said that they didn't do the install and I was wrong and I should find someone elseShe had nothing to say when I told her that I have a sticker on the side with their name that reads "call davis plumbing for service" with both their numbersShe said she'd have the boss call meI sent an email with pictures of the unit and all the warranty info and their stickerHe didn't call me, I called themThe secretary seemed annoyed and passed the phone to mrDavisIt was clear by his tone that she told him my story and he was sure I was wrong tooI asked him about the email I sent, he only knew what the secretary told him about itHe told me they don't sell [redacted] products only ***, which a quick internet search told me it's the same company(They should know this)I started answering his questions from the attachments from my copy of the email I sent himHe then revealed that the secretary hadnt shown them to him but it would have helpedWhen he saw them he knew it was their workThe owner thought it was a long drive and asked if I'd be willing to rule out some things so he wouldn't waste a trip on something simpleWe got a free diagnosis from a local company that refused to deal with ***s poor warranty systemThey said it was in fact defective and definitely needed replacingI called back with this information but got cut off mid sentence by the secretary saying she didn't know what mrDavis had promised me but he'd call me backI called again the next day, nothingOn wednesday night the defective water heater flooded my basementI still havent heard backI'm disappointed that they don't keep promisesThe secretary (and apparently her daughter) run the place in a very casual wayI've had to buy a new water heater from a plumbing store and hire a contractor since none of the other companies want to handle the messed up situation Davis plumbing got us into(By not communicating with customers or eachother, by not understanding their product line, by over promising and underdelivering, by not keeping proper records, by allowing unprofessional conduct in their office; both in how they address the public and interact with eachother and by leaving my family (including a very young child) without water for days as I waited hoping they would call me back
