Unfortunately what we found on the requested return trip was upon being told that a new filter was installed, had not been installed and the machine was still clean & still making ice We did solve the problem with the dirtiness of the machine and serviced the machine accordingly on the initial visit We did hook up the machine, eliminating the stopped up water filter to properly verify that the machine was working correctly and would operate once a new filter was installedThe customer took it upon himself to want to order and install a new filterWe did quote him on what a new filter with installation would be, he choose again to proceed with doing that himself

We have seemed to reach a stand still since this keeps being rejected.  When we made that last return trip to your location. You had stated you had replaced the filter and installed it, when in fact it was found in the same operations we had left it, which was directly connected to the machine. The question arises now as to if you have in fact replaced the filter, with the correct filter needed. We again can not control the water supply coming into your machine. We did service and remove all visible trash & mold at the time we serviced your machine. Your machine was producing "clean" ice when we left, even with the water filter off. [redacted]

greatest so there was a lot of lime, scale and mold on the unit.  A typical regularly maintained unit is to descale the evaporator and all water components to clean them from lime and scale deposits that occur from regular usage, cleaning the condenser, which is the area that houses the compressor and refrigeration system of the unit.3/24-[redacted] machine had not been regularly maintained it appeared to us, there was mold in the bin (storage of ice), his charcoal filter was stopped up and the evaporator and condenser were extremely "dirty". We quoted a price on preforming the service needed. Informed the site's point of contact of the stopped up filter as well that we didn't have on hand, we would have to order it from a supplier. Numerous phone calls with a time laps finally authorization with instructions to not replace the ice machines in-line filter. Mr. [redacted] stated he was going to replace himself. We completed the service needed and removed all mold, lime and scale. Mr. [redacted] then called and asked for us to come back out there his machine still had trash in the ice.  I informed my technicians but due to our work schedule they were unable to come back the next day or the following. My tech did ask if they had replaced the charcoal filter (sometimes a new filter will seep charcoal) and when I asked Mr. [redacted] if that had been done he said yes. My tech went back out on 3/27/15 and found that the water filter had not been replaced as stated and took pictures of the evaporator showing no lime & scale as a contributing factor to particles he is finding in his ice. We have no control over the water source to his machine, that is why we advised a new inline filter be used.

I am rejecting this response because: The technican did not montioring the machine for ice to flow.  Once the cleaning was done the tech left without looking at the ice.  If you feel you don't deserve to come back out, I can bring my picture to a civil court and let them decide who is correct and who is not.  We don't have to keep going back and forth.  Just let me know if you feel that you don't desreve to come back out and I promise you I can handle the rest from here. Paying $50.00 to submit paperwork to file this claim is nothing when you are giving a person over $300.00 for bad service.  The ball is in your hand and this is my final offer.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I told the company that I tried both filter new and old and I still have trash in my ice.  If it was a issue with the City of Jackson water line or any other excuses they wanted to used, I have no problem with that, all they had to say was Mr. [redacted], I don't think we can take care of the problem or Mr. [redacted] you will still have some debris/trash in the ice, neither of that was done and the tech was so sure of himself that I could operate my machine without a filter so that why he connect my machine from the filter staight to the machine.  When he came out, I explained to him with the new filter been installed it was still debri/trash and I wanted to show him the different.  The new filter is on and I still have trash in my ice.  I would have been ok if the tech that came out would have stated "I don't think we can get all the trash out your ice or something like that" he insisted that with all the mold they found and cleaning the machine it was good the go.  That is not correct, I still have trash and I am requesting someone to come out or refund my money.  I am find either direction they would like to go.Sorry for the delay on my response,  but I am in the military and was out for a week.

I am rejecting this response because:I called the vice president of the company and she kept telling me she is still looking for a filter, therefore, she is correct I took it upon myself and bought a filter the same day that she said she was still looking.  When she finally told me she found one, my filter was already in route.  The matter is not about the filter, the matter is that I have trash in my ice with an old filter and still have ice with a new filter.  Its not about where the filter came from because speaking with the tech on ground he stated as long as I get the filter that was identical to what on there it will be good.  I think all of her comments are her personal opinion but by not been on site not hearing what her tech is telling me is still two different things.  The bottom line is that I have a new filter and still have trash in my ice.  How are you going to correct that?  You didn't have a filter when you came to do the job and now you are saying it was part of the problem, why did you collected my over $300 payment, why you just didn't say "I don't have everything you need so when I order the part, I will have to come back out" that didn't happen. So again, I have trash in ice, what need to happen?
