Review: On June 19th 2014when the contractor was delivering the material to reroof a section of 2nd story, he was backing up his trailer and he hit a corner of my shed decking. Mr [redacted] told me of the accident when I returned home that afternoon. He said it was only a bump but he did need to use some of the limber I had on the side of the house to get his trailer unstuck(5-2x6x10& 3-4x4x8 pressure treated that were not replace).The next morning(6-20) I went out to inspect the deck before his workers arrived and saw the damage that had been done.

The damage to the deck made it unsafe to use. I asked one of the worker when Mr. [redacted] would be at the job. I was informed that he was at another job and would not be here. I pointed out the damage and asked if he could have Mr. [redacted] call me about the repairs that were needed to fix the deck.

On the following 6-22 Mr [redacted] came to my house payment. I asked how he was going to take care of the damage to the deck,he proclaimed he didn't know anything about the damaged deck and that some kid must have done it. I reminded him that he told me the day it happened he had "bumbed the deck when he was backing his trailer in" and he needed to use some of the lumber on the side of the house to get his trailer unstuck. Again he claimed not to know how the deck was damaged. Again I reminded him he told me how it happened. At that point I informed Mr [redacted] that I was going to withhold the final payment untill the deck was repaired.

On Monday(6-23) Mr [redacted] came to repair the deck along with one helper. They did a half Hearted repair and at that point I just wanted the --- gone. I payed him the amount remaining according to the the proposel and contract that he supplyed and bid him farwell and hoped I would never see him again.

The man lied to my faceDesired Settlement: That [redacted] Roofing replace the lumber that is missing.

I was looking for a company close and found Davis Roofing.

Very professional did what he promised and more.If you want a new roof or replacement no one better.Cleaned up after every day they were here.Can not say enough.

I wanted a local family business so I chose to go with this company.

Robert is professional and fast. His quote was quite reasonable. When termite damage was uncovered he proved that he could handle the woodwork as efficiently as the roofing.

Overall I am very satisfied with the job. He never cuts corners but keeps his work to the highest standards.
