Regarding the complaint by Mr*** He complained that his sealer was all wore off after months I informed him as we did that the sealer needs done every year or two and that from day one it begins to wear off fro 100% to near 0% and that is why it must be applied every year or
two He and I disagree on the amount that the sealer is worn In my opinion it is wearing as and he just wants a refund which I am not willing to give him The fact that we have never had a complaint to the Revdex.com before backs up the fact that we are a contractor of integrity and that we do good work Furthermore my construction company over years in business has never had complaint, not one! I take pride in my work and if I were a bad contractor who didn't care about quality or integrity I'd have dozens of complaints and I do not I'm sorry that I haven't responded yetI am small company and work hour days as I'm the secretary, accountant, marketer, salesman, supervisor and spend half my time as a carpenter as well I was a paying member of the Revdex.com for a few years and I'd like my status re-instated and my rating re-instated to an A+ as well Also the two companies need separated and anything regarding this complaint moved under the Davis Sealcoating LLC and not under the Davis Construct LLC I take great pride that I've never even had a complaint to my construction work and I'd like it to stay that way Although you just can't please everyone I do my best and that is why I haven't had a complaint in years!

I do not believe it took a full six months for the sealer to almost completely wear off. The driveway was sealed in late August and I could not observe the state of the driveway during the winter months. I do not even use salt on my driveway surface (I only remove the snow). It was in early April that I started contacting Davis Sealcoating to inform them of the sealant failure. Months later when I finally made contact, I made arrangements with Gabe D[redacted] Sr. to look at the state of his company’s work. He did not inform me that sealing was required every year. In fact any reputable driveway sealing company will tell you that it should be done at a maximum of every two years. It is possible to “overseal” your driveway if done correctly every year. Even if this is the case and a driveway should be sealed every year, the Davis Sealcoat company states on their website that “the quality of their work is GUARANTEED”. Wearing off in less than a year is a violation of that guarantee according the last written statement given to the Revdex.com by Mr. D[redacted]. During the meeting at my home with Mr. D[redacted] Sr. to review the state of my driveway, he informed that “this is what your driveway should look like next year”. None of the conversation he writes about happened with me at that time. All of our subsequent communication was in the form of SMS text messaging (which is attached for review). Mr. D[redacted] agreed to re-seal the driveway multiple times. Over the next few months I got only excuses from Mr. D[redacted] as to why he was not able to come and do the job that we agreed on. His final excuse was that I had a bad attitude and I was not deserving of the job that I paid for. According to his last written communication with Revdex.com, I see he still has more excuses and a very poor attitude. At this late time in the season, it is not possible to re-seal the driveway. I am still requesting a full refund. I cannot speak for other complaints I found online for Mr. D[redacted]’ business, I can only comment on my own experience.
