Davis Smog

Review: I brought my 2004 Subaru WRX STI into the Davis smog shop for a smog test. Upon opening the hood, the technician and owner specified that because I have an aftermarket intake he will not perform the test because I would fail the visual test. This would have been fine and understandable except for the fact that I explained that the cobb intake that I have is the only aftermarket intake approved for smog in the state of california. I even had the emissions sticker on it lto prove it which I offered to show him many times. The owner refused to look at the sticker and exclaimed that the car was " too modified" and would not smog the car.This makes no sense to me. If I have all of the paperwork and stickers then why would there be any issue smogging the car.? have brought this and many other vehicles (at least 3) to Davis smog and smogged them all fine. I tried to explain this but he only got more rude.I asked for a business card to write a review of the shop and the owner told me to leave or he would call the police. This is VERY unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I would like the owner to formally apologize for embarrassing me and verbally abusing me after offering to show legal paperwork to him for my car.
