There shouldn’t be a problem getting the release form from my attorney prior to Feb 16th, I’ll keep you posted prior on what day I can meet with Ms*** & MrFreedman to resolve the complaint. I'apologize for the delay in responding, I've been out of town all week, just arrived back in town late last nightI did however, want to respond to the Revdex.com complaintMy attorney mailed a document to Ms*** offering a solutionTo the best of my knowledge my attorney had not received a
response from Ms***, I'll meet with my attorney on Monday or Tuesday & provide a detailed response to the Revdex.com complaint

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. Dawson Dodd sent a serviceman to my home on 11-21-17, and he worked for almost 6 hours. He discovered 2 leaks and that the electricity had not been hooked up to the heater. One leak was fixed, and arrangements were made to repair the final leak on 11-24-17.  A technician came out on 11-24-17 and worked on the leak.  I had to call him back when I discovered freon hissing out of the line. He returned and it appears that the leak has been repaired.  I still do not know if the electricity has been hooked up to the heater. No calls that I made have been returned, but I did speak with [redacted] concerning the electrical line run to the heater. I am unsure if it was inspected when it was run.  So I would say that significant progress has been made, and the issue is almost resolved.

01/24/2018  Well, we have gotten correspondence from the AG's office since we last sent anything to the Revdex.com. A proposal was made sometime recently and I believe mentioned in the AG correspondence about a $3500.00 settlement. Did the business agree to that or did we ever communicate to the business we would accept that? You know, I do not really know and will have to speak with my husband. Yes, send me your email and we will forward you copies of the AG correspondence plus a letter from the attorney for the business (believe at one time the business indicated  it wanted all contact to go to the attorney). {emailed consumer and advised I need to know if they ever communicated to  the business they would settle for $3500.00}01/26/2018 Hi [redacted],Thank you for speaking with me the other day.I am glad that our dispute with Dawson Dodd has been referred to mediation and look forward to achieving a settlement.Attached is our complaint to the Attorney General, dated November 2017.  And, Dawson Dodd's response to the Attorney General with a cover letter from the Attorney General letter dated December 2017.  This is from which we gathered that Dawson Dodd would be willing to settle for $3551.12.  We reached out to the company and informed them we would accept this offer if we received a check by December 31, 2017.  We did not.This is the second time we've received a response from the company indicating they would compensate us for some of our damages, but we have not received any funds from them despite following up.I want to clarify that some of the supporting materials Dawson Dodd supplied here are items a) that have never been shared with us; b) are incomplete, erroneous or misleading.  Specifically:1) Dawson Dodd suggests that it is common practice to install 7 year old parts into people's home, however, I had phone and email conversation with [redacted] from [redacted] (the parts manufacturer) and similar conversations with another installer that made clear this is NOT common practice and is instead consider quite unusual, questionable, and by the way, the part didn't work for more than 6 months, so that alone suggests it was not in good repair.  2) Further, Dawson Dodd takes about the purchase date of the heat pump coil.  This is misleading as it seems to be a response to our claim that the cooling module (a completely different part) was not an old piece of equipment.  In fact, we have provided photographic evidence that they installed a cooling module from 2002.  Yet the company has not responded to this very questionable practice.3) [redacted] erroneously claims that their company was not informed when our blower module stopped working and asked to make good on their parts and warranty guarantees.  Here he only shared 1 part of an email chain that followed a phone call with John Dawson on 8/2/17 in which we specifically discussed whether Dawson Dodd would fulfill its parts and warranty agreement or reimburse us for [redacted] to conduct the work.4) Finally, Dawson Dodd has had multiple opportunities to received itemized breakdowns of costs and I have supplied you with those documents attached.  Unfortunately, the company was unresponsive to every avenue we've pursued for resolution, had their lawyer contact us further escalating matters, and asked us to give them back the blower module as stipulation for payment, which of course is our key evidence in this matter should we need to pursue legal action.I am very eager for your help in resolving this matter.  The time and energy investment alone far outpaces the paltry reimbursement that has been offered at this point.  Thank you.  Wishing you lots of luck in helping this dispute come to settlement.  Please do let me know if I can provide additional information on this matter.Best wishes,[redacted]01/29/2018 Glad to hear he has told you he plans to get that release form and then get us the check by February 16th. as I know it passed inspection. Regarding the complaint we did not "duck" any calls from the gentleman filing the complaint, the water heater has long since been out of warranty since it was originally installed in 2009, & we no longer had a file on it. As soon as we received a copy of the invoice from the installation from the customer, we immediately acted on securing the permit & inspection. We consider the matter closed

I woke up yesterday morning to a furnace that wasn't working properly. I called Dawson Dodd before office hours and their answering service took my information and told me I would receive a callback at 8:00 a.m. Promptly at 8:00 I received a call from John at Dawson Dodd and a repair visit was scheduled for that same day. The service technician arrived at 12:30 and had my furnace back up and running within an hour. Throughout the process the staff at Dawson Dodd was courteous, accommodating, and efficient. They charged a fair price for their work. I couldn't have asked for more.
