Hotel owes a refund to me
We booked a room on 4/5/18.When we got there at 10:am the hotel refused to accommodate us.They ageed to prosses a refund at the time for $ 67.62.The refund was never credited to my account instead to someone else's credit card NOT to the one I used to book the room.I spoke to Trish and Tina the manager,they conferred with the owner.They refused to properly credit my account.Further the staff was rude unprofessional and refused my further contact.

It is the policy of our Motel to advise customers upon check in that if they smoke in a room, cook in a room or bring a dog (other than a service dog) in a room they will be subject to a $250 cleaning fee. Upon being advised of this the customer got quite agitated and said "that's the first question I asked when I called your web site and made this reservation. I asked if you took dogs, you people said yes and I brought mine."
The desk clerk tried to explain to him that he had not made his reservation through our Motel Website but through a 3rd party online reservation service called Consumer Club but the customer was insistent that he had spoken directly to someone from our reservation service. No amount of explanation on her part would make him understand who he had actually made the reservation with and who had actually charged his credit card. The desk clerk advised him that she would credit the card on file and gave him a receipt to prove that she had credited the online service, but that he had to call the number he had originally called to make the reservation to advise them that he did not stay and that a credit was due him. The online service would then call us to confirm that he did not stay and a credit would be issued (BY THEM) to his credit card. His response was "You people charged my credit card and you better credit it TODAY"
The desk clerk called Priceline directly a few days later and was advised that the customer had not called them. The desk clerk advised them what had happened and Priceline assured her that as Consumer Club was one of their affiliates that they would make sure that both charges to his card would be credited, the one for Consumer Club for 4/5 arrival and the second one he made directly with Priceline for 4/6 arrival.
We have since been advised that both credits did occur and that the customer was emailed regarding both credits. (See timeline attached)
As to the staff being rude, both when he checked in and his subsequent phone call to the office it was he who would not listen to the explanation of what actually occurred, raised his voice and threatened to call The Revdex.com and if that didn't work he was "coming up there to take care of this in person!"
I'm sure his statement that we refused further contact with him stems from the fact that after numerous attempts to explain the situation to him, that WE had NOT charged his credit card and him arguing with the desk clerk, she simply said to him, "Sir, I'm sorry, there is nothing I can do for you. You have to call the 800 number.
The fact of the matter is that both of the credits to his credit card had been done by Priceline before he submitted his complaint to you.
Respectfully, The Motel Front Desk Staff
