Day Star Landscapes, Inc. Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The information provided by this company is incorrect. While my reasoning for needing to move is correct, Not only did they not notify me of my options when I first contacted them in July, but each time thereafter that I reached out over the next THREE months, my communication was met unanswered by the company.  Had I known a signed contract was needed in order to receive marketing help, I would have done so 4 months ago, but the company failed to inform me of that and thereby wasted my time to find someone and therefore I will not lose out on another lease in a better building to suit my clients special needs. They're unwillingness to work with me, is causing me to lose clients. I tried giving advance notice and doing things appropriately but they have put me in a very frustrating situation. I am asking to be let out of my lease as of 12/1/2016 in order to better serve children with autism and other disabilities who are not able to be in the current building.
Regards,
[redacted]

We were contacted by Ms. [redacted] in July 2016 regarding issues she was having with the use of the space and common area's.  Our initial understanding was that she thought she was being too loud for others in the building.  We soon became aware that her concern was actually that the space and...

common areas did not meet her and her clients sensitive needs.  According to Ms. [redacted] - because some of her clients can be very loud the design and layout of the building creates echos and noise that her clients find distracting and disruptive.  When she asked us what she could do to get out of the lease; we informed her that she had a number of options; Sublease, assign or negotiate an early termination.  We at the time had a building that was 100% occupied and let her know that if we received any inquiries regarding space that we would forward them to her. Ms. [redacted] contacted us about every third week or so inquiring whether or not we had found anyone for her space; at which time we let her know that we had not received any inquires and that she should be taking an active role in marketing the space.  (please keep in mind that we did not have a listing agreement with Ms. [redacted]).   We have no contractual obligation to lease this space for her; we gave her the courtesy of adding it to our availability list and would show it whenever the opportunity arose.  At this time we have three other vacancies for which we are contractually obligated to lease for the Owner of the building.
