The guest came to the front desk and informed us of her issue We then sent housekeeping to the room (***) which was a non smoking king room The housekeeping did not find anything to the extent mentioned in the complaint The guest was offered another room (***) which was also a non smoking king The guest refused to even go look at the room or any other room that was offered The hotel had a day cancelation for this particular weekend which the guest was aware of We offered to move her reservation to an indoor hotel down the street at the same rate that she was given at our hotel even though the rate would have been much higher The guest refused and stated that they had already made reservations themselves at another hotel in town Due to the cancelation policy and the unwillingness to accept any of our offers and the fact that they never intended on staying at our hotel which was shown by making other reservations we were not able to give any type of refundA complaint was made and case closed through our hotel customer care department There was also a case filed with the credit card company which was also denied
