Review: Made a reservation late on 8/7/14 for night of 8/8/14. Awoke on 8.8 to sick animal, which caused me to cancel reservation. Was told I'd be charged unless the room was rented. Was able to find someone to look after animals, so was able to take the trip. Called to see if room was available or had been rented and was told the room had been rented. Had to drive 4 hours home because of this, but accepted it as I wouldn't be charged.
But then, I was charged anyway.
Have called the hotel once, and the Days Inn support line 5+ times. So far, no one is willing to refund this.Desired Settlement: I'd like my 109.99 refunded immediately.

Just returned from the worst experience we've had staying away from home. We have stayed here in the past and were happy to return. Upon arrival we discovered the rate for the RV park has gone up from $35 to $60 for a spot in the RV park. We had no cable, no WiFi, the locks on the bathrooms are broken and the garbage cans were overflowing, we were also forced to crawl our cords and hoses under our RV as the utilities are on the wrong side. This is nothing compared to how we were treated by the management when we discovered we had been charged for 4 nights instead of 3. When we politely brought the discrepancy to the management's attention, the older woman behind the counter offered no apologies and the first thing she said to us was, "if you don't like the price, you can leave". We had already accepted the price increase, we just wanted our money back for the extra night they charged us. She started yelling that they had the right to refuse service to anyone, as if that gave her the right to withhold our money. She sent me away and told me she'd think about giving me my money back. My husband and I were in shock as to how we were treated by simply asking for the extra night to be refunded. In the end we had to wait until check out before she would honor our request for a refund. Had we not paid so much to stay here and risked losing our entire payment, I would have left immediately. When I asked to speak to the general manager, [redacted], I discovered he was a very young man, maybe in his twenties, he did not make eye contact and kept mumbling that he was "off the clock". The woman at the front desk scolded him and sent him away when he reluctantly tried to help me after much pleading from me. She began screaming that they could not live off of $35 a night, they were bankrupt after investing $50,000 in updates and $7,000 in technology. We did not benefit from any of those things. In the end I was forced to apologize, even though I had done nothing wrong, just so I could get my money back. We will never stay here again as long as this management is in place. (To the management, save your response and empty apology to this complaint, it is not worth it).
Review: On September 12th 2015 We rented the conference room that days inn owns for our wedding reception, after decorating that morning and showing up at the conference room after our wedding at 1pm we noticed right after getting there that the A/C unit wasn't working, 4 times someone from the reception including myself in my wedding dress went to the front desk to complain, all 4 times they said they would send someone to look at it, all 4 times no one came. Finally after a 5th time complaining a lady came over ( turns out she was one of the owners) and blamed me on my wedding day for the whole thing, said we needed to keep doors shut and when I explained to her that we had, indeed had the doors closed and no one could breathe because there was no air flow, and my wedding cake was literally melting in front of our eyes she again said well keep doors shut and put your cake in the fridge. It honestly ruined my wedding day, it was so hot in there that all my guests were getting sick, couldn't breath, especially mine and my husbands mothers who were on oxygen. I didn't get to do any of the things you do at a reception, like first dances, speeches, throwing of the bouquet or garder, When I told the lady that I think they owe me at least my money back she said "oh well" and walked away from me. To this day I have not received a penny for the hall rental, or the wedding cake getting ruined or for that matter all the food that we had to throw out because we couldn't keep it cool, even in tubs of ice that melted almost immediately, All my wedding photos are also crap because all our faces were all red and sweaty, I cannot believe the poor customer service from this place.Desired Settlement: I would like the $418.00 back I paid for the rental, as well as restitution for all the wasted food and my wedding cake.

Review: We had reserved a room for one night then realized we need to stay an additional night one day earlier for a two night stay. We stayed the first night and found the room to be unsatisfactory. We explained this to the "owners" the next morning and told them of our dissatisfaction with the cleanliness and condition of the room. We cancelled that nights stay. They were very argumentative but finally agreed to refund the next nights stay. We asked for something in writing stating they would refund our cost for one nights stay. We received a had written note that they would refund one nights stay. No money was ever refunded. Now they deny any record of this or our stay and refuse to refund our money for the night we did not stay there.Desired Settlement: We desire a refund for
