Dear [redacted] ***, We have received the message in regards to [redacted] The complain ID [redacted] To report this incident further in appropriate way we have filled a police claim with Officer: - [redacted] and the case number for this case being [redacted] Also, to add on this issue we have given the police the file of the video surveillance that we have recorded for the date of 3/5/Also to add on this matter we are trying to help the guest in every possible waysWe did refund all the money for the room and also told her that for any time of the visit to this hotel she would have the best rate from usWe are working hard to hear back from the police and the investigation is still going onThank you [redacted] [redacted] Days Inn [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:If corporate is going to leave it up to the owner to resolve the issue, then why is the owner not responding? There's no reason why corporate should respond to the complaint if it's being left in the hands of the ownerContact the owner and allow them to respondCorporate said they would stay out of it, so I'm asking that you continue to stay out of itThanks!

I am rejecting this response because: I think the mgr of the hotel is trying to sweep this situation under the rug like every other situation. At the end of the day this is a private owned business, if they were true to making the best of the situation then it would be settled. I think that the mgr/owner is trying to buy themselves for me to forget about it because I was refunded the one night did stay, which is petty money compared to the cost of the computer. [redacted] and I both watched the tape and he saw for himself that his employees were the only people to enter my room. The question I want to ask is: WHAT THIEF IS GOING TO WAIVE STOLEN GOOD IN THE AIR FOR ANYBODY TO SEE? Common sense says none! So if this case is going to be closed because the tape is not clear enough to see the thieves walking out with stolen goods without a worry in the world and waiving the computer in the air, then I'll be forced to take leGal action. Regards,
