I am writing this letter in response to the letter you have sent to Days Inn Milford regarding the stay of *** *** When *** *** checked into the hotel we explained to our policies according to her stayIn the copies of paperwork you will see that she has initialed the part about ifthey
smoked inthe roomWhen the housekeeper went into the room to clean it she found a cup with cigarettes butts in it andbrought it right down to meThat is when I checked to make sure she had initialed our policy if you smoked inthe room you would be charged $I would also like to address her statement about no one would tell her why she was charged the $The Front Desk Clerk did talk to her about the extra charge on her credit card and the home office was also told why she was charged and the charge was put on the same day as departure not three days later as she claims We also sent the same copies to our merchant services with an explanation to the added charge to her billWe did not try to use any fraud in her caseBut when everyone else told her the charges stand that is when she contacted the Better Business Office.1f you have any questions or need anything else you can call the General Manager, *** *** or myself, *** ** *** ** *** or fax anything else that you may need from us at *** ***

Review: I rented a room at this facility for one night, gave them my credit card and at the end of my stay signed a receipt for the charges. Three days later they had charged my credit card an additional $200.00 and have yet to explain why. I have tried many to communicate with the manager and their answer is always that he is not in, and no explanation is given for the extra charge. When you deal with a reputable business you should be able to trust that your credit card account will not be used without your knowledge.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my credit card refunded.
