I hired [redacted] to put a deck on thw back of my houseThey partially built it on my drivewayIt was obvious they did not know what they were doingI gave them a down payment and it took them forever to come out and finish things up the deck is still not finishedCome to find out, he never pulled a permitHe never did the work, rather hired [redacted] a friend of his to do the workI sold the house, telling the new owners what happenedWood in the garage...unfinished deck

I first hired Chorney Home Improvement because I needed new windowsI was very impressed with their attention to detail and the way they responded to my questions and concernsTheir quality and craftsmanship were excellent! Since then I have recommended them to a great number of friends and familyAnd they have done everything from roofs, to siding, to new doors, to masonry repair, all to the satisfaction of everyone involvedAs for me, I would hire them again in a heartbeatThey stand by their work and are always there when needed

Review: 6 of our guys staying at the hotel had issues, all rooms had a mold smell to them, the AC was falling off its place, no phones were working, at least one room had ants it it, not a plesent place stay, the tub had a crack in it and wes ducktaped, and I am sure water was flowing out side somewhere within the roomDesired Settlement: we like refund for all the nights. the place needs to be checked by department of health and safety
Review: To begin with the room smelled horribly--really dank and humid. The pillows were smaller than throw pillows and were dreadfully inadequate. When I called the desk about both issues, I was rudely dismissed. After spending an hour driving around town searching for and purchasing an appropriate pillow, we returned to the room only to discover that the people above our room were very loud. I called the front desk and asked if we could be moved, to which I was told, rudely, that the motel was booked solid and we couldn't be moved. After lunch, we returned for a nap only to discover that the noise above us had gotten louder. I called the front desk again at which point the front desk attendant got belligerent and abrasive, telling me that I had done nothing but complain and that she didn't appreciate it. I went to the desk to speak with the manager only to discover that it was the manager herself who had been so rude. I asked her if she talked to all her customers that way, to which she replied "only to you." In order to avoid any further confrontation, I left, found another hotel, and came back to get our stuff. I turned in the keys and informed her that we were not staying and not to charge our card. We left, and she charged the card anyway. No customer should ever have to put up with what I had to put up with at that hotel. I felt personally attacked, disrespected and humilliated. The WORST customer/merchant experience I have ever had. Bar none.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund (may be unapplicable, as I have filed a claim with my bank and they will stop payment on the charge). Also, I would like an apology from Days Inn and action taken against the manager whose name is Christina Arnold.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9761853, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Although the merchant keeps inventing scenarios to make themselves look better (not a word of my complaint has changed one iota, and I CLEARLY stated to the merchant that no further action would be taken), this is a reasonable resolution to this awful incident.
