Customer stated the things Day's Towing said in their response are completely false.  He stated they did get into it over the telephone.   Customer stated he didn't say 1/2 those things.  He called the body shop and they said it was a lie.  The front desk lady said sign this saying it was towed wrong and he did.  He is just trying to get out of paying the $2000 in damages.  Day's can either pay now or later.  [redacted] Insurance is going after him with a lawsuit and he is going to file a civil suit against Day's.  He is going to run Day's name into the ground.

[redacted] called Revdex.com with a response.  The customer's car was towed in from the Hamilton Police Department.  The car is a somewhat all wheel drive vehicle.  After the car was in, the customer called and said he wanted it towed to a body shop where his brother worked.  A veteran...

driver of Day's towed the car on a dolly truck.  This lifts the wheels off the ground and complies with towing specs for all wheel and 4 wheel drive vehicles.  The customer then called and said the car was supposed to be towed on a flatbed b/c it tears the rear-end otherwise.  At that point, the customer didn't know if the rear end was torn or not.  [redacted] told the customer to let them know.  The customer said the car was probably totaled.  [redacted] talked to the tow driver who said they didn't tear it up.  He said when he lowered the vehicle, the customer's brother came out and was yelling at him that it was supposed to be on a flat bed and we tore it up.  He said he had cameras that recorded it.  Then more people came out and made the driver uneasy.  He went into the shop to get paid for both tows and the storage.  They refused to pay for the service and wanted him to sign a paper.  He said if they had cameras, then he wouldn't have to sign anything.  They wouldn't let him out until he signed it and he felt safety was an issue.  The customer/body shop have never shown [redacted] any tape of the tow or what the tow driver signed.  [redacted] wanted to look at the car to see if the damage was the result of a bad tow.  He was never given that opportunity.  Then the customer calls and says he wants all this to go away and if Day's pays the deductible and rental, he would be happy.  The customer took the vehicle to a [redacted] dealership to be repaired because the insurance company said to get it fixed there.  Again, Day's never had the opportunity to look at the vehicle before it was repaired.  Insurance typically won't approve new parts unless comparable used aren't available.  Then the customer tells [redacted] that he isn't working, his wife has cancer and he is trying to get disability.  He said he didn't have the money for a rental or the deductible. [redacted] doesn't feel responsible for paying the rental or deductible, if they didn't do the damage.  The customer became violent, cussing and very threatening.  He told [redacted] he better keep an eye over his shoulder, don't mess with him and was going to make his life [redacted].  [redacted] told the customer that he would pray for him and his wife.  The customer told him to go "*" himself and he better pray to be safe.  [redacted] said that his isn't willing to pay for something they didn't do.  If the vehicle was towed improperly, then the transmission and rear end would have melted because of too much friction.  He was never given the opportunity to see the vehicle before it was fixed.

Customer contacted Revdex.com and indicated the business contacted him and resolved the matter.
