I booked a reservation at this hotel on 9/13/through ExpediaExpedia kept sending me confirmation of booking and that the charges have already been paid I call the hotel to confirm the stay of weekend of 5/12/17- 5/14/and they say they have no record They have changed ownership and have explunged all reservations made prior to ownership change They will not honor the booking even with a no refund policy They say I have go through Expedia to get refund Eco Lodge also says they are not responsible for letting people know of their decision to cancel Expedia has no knowledge of this ownership change At this point I am out $plus the heart ache of trying to find an hotel for my daughter's graduation out of town The clerk at the hotel was rude and told me that life is tough and hung up without giving me the chance to talk with a supervisor
I booked a hotel room through an app on my cellphone and paid through the app before arriving at the hotel When I arrived, they said they needed to see my card that I had used to book the room I was then informed that there would be a $security charge applied to my card that would fall off the following morning when I checked out Approximately hours after checking out of the hotel and leaving the area, I checked my bank statement and saw that two (2) separate $charges were made against my card as well as the $charge for the original price of the room through the app As of two (2) days after leaving the hotel one of the two $charges had fallen off my card and been credited back to my accountThe other charge is still outstanding I called the hotel and the manager said it would take business days for my money to be funded back to my account When I questioned why they would charge my card twice and tie up my money for business days, he quickly hung up on
