Southwest Roofing hasn't done anything to try to resolve this neither has [redacted]. From Mr. T[redacted] letter to the Revdex.com he is passing it off to [redacted]. The vehicle was purchased from us "As is" with an extended warranty with an outside Company, if she did not renew her warranty and submit the problem to them, it's not on us. She brought the car back for check engine light. The problem was resolved based on the diagnosed code at the moment which was...

an exhaust sensor which we resolved by replacing it. Her vehicle passed inspection, several weeks later she brought the car back for a window regulator, we repaired it as well. She purchased a 2004 Volkswagen ten years old As Is at the time she bought it and we still replaced what she needed at the time, a year later she files a complaint. As we all know a used car is a machine and machines do break down, maintenance is also required to keep them running, such as oil change and other mechanical maintenance especially when a car is 10 years old. We have her signed documents required on file, the "As is" signed by her as well as the Bill of sale terms and stipulations, also signed by her and we still helped her when she came back two times. She purchased an extended warranty, she should've called them when her contract was still active to have her covered mechanical issues resolved by them. We will take no further action regarding this matter.

The customer purchased the used vehicle "As is" with no known problems on 09/06/2014. In the [redacted], consumers have 30 days to inspect a vehicle. The customer claims she took the vehicle for inspection 10/31/2014, that is 55 days after purchasing the vehicle. Her mechanic told her that the...

exhaust system had been altered and we don't know by whom, when she came back to us on 11/15/2014, that was 69 days after purchasing the vehicle. Being that she came back to us two and half months after purchasing her vehicle from us, we will not give her a refund or pay for any repairs. Used cars break down and always need some type of repair, she needs to fix it and move on.

This "hole in the wall" has some tricks up there sleeves. They sell you the ProGuard Warranty which is not a warranty place, more like a circus. Daytona Auto Sales should not be in business.

Review: The vehicle I purchased on 9/6/2014 failed ** state inspection on 10/31/14. I took it to my mechanic on 11/15/14 and he discovered the exhaust system had been altered prior to my owning the vehicle. It can not be repaired, it must be replaced. Additionally, in the state of NJ, it is illegal to sell a car with an altered exhaust according to [redacted]. I went to the dealership on 11/15/14 and they refused to return my money or pay for the exhaust replacement.Desired Settlement: I would like either my $5,600 cash returned in exchange for the car being returned to the dealer, or for the dealer to pay for the exhaust system to be replaced.

Review: On 6/21/2014 I was sold a 2004 Volkswagen Touareg that I financed through Westlake financial from Daytona Auto Sales. The day after I drive off the lot the engine light turned on. I was told by the salesman Ezra to complete the bank questioniar saying the car is in good condition than he'll fix what's wrong. He told me to drop off the car to fix the issue. I told them I rather stay while it's getting fix since I no longer trusted them because I felt and now believe It was a bad sale but he did not agree. I couldn't even pass inspection. Eventually my husband drop the car off twice and they did something where they turned the engine light off the 1st time it did not pass but the 2nd time it pass inspection and a few days later it turned back on. I did not call them back about the light turning on because via email we was going back and forth (which I have all saved). Now about a year later the car needs a new motor costing at least $8000. I was told by Volkswagen the engine light was on for that reason plus more and that the problem was never fixed. I'm still making payment on the car owning $7406.25. I called Daytona last week spoke to Ezra and was told there's nothing they can do. I'm convinced I was sold a car full of issues that they were aware of. As I was signing the paper I was told by Ezra "we don't sell cars that has issues and can't pass inspection. We have a mechanic that checks all the vehicles" at that time I had my daughter that wasn't even two months old with me. Now about a year later I'm stuck with a loan, a car that I can't drive or afford to fix, and that is not tradeable as per the dealerships.Desired Settlement: I would like the vehicle to be repaired, replaced, trade for another vehicle, or reimbursed. I just want something done. It's totally not fair to sell a vehicle for about $11,700 that did not last a full year and where promises were broken car not being fixed as told via phone and email.
