Review: About 4 years ago we had D&B Asphalt do our driveway. By appearance it seemed well. First time it rained we had a lake in front of our garage to our walkway. We contacted D&B Spoke with [redacted] and he assured us he would fix it.A few months later after constant calls to him and contacting Consumer affairs and the Revdex.com he showed back up to put a new coat of asphalt on and fix the "slope" of the driveway which was needed for run off. Needless to say it did NOT fix the problem. We have been back and forth with this company to fix the driveway and nothing. Finally on July **th 2013,He sent two of his workers to "fix" the driveway. The driveway now looks worse than before they "fixed it". When I called [redacted] about this he stated he would come look at it. Three hours later after no call no show I called him back and [redacted] responded "What do you want from me, its been a few years" I told him, I just want you to do whats right and fix the driveway the way it should have been when initially done. For him to come so I can show him what was wrong with it." He said "No, he was sick and he was not coming or sending anyone to check on anything". However he was NOT too sick to show up a half hour after his workers left to see if we paid for the job.Desired Settlement: Is that D&B Asphalt own up to what was done replace the driveway and have it correctly done

We installed the complaints driveway on 5-**-08. The customer at the time way happy with the job, done to his satisfaction. We then received a complaint with the Suffolk County Office of Consumers Affairs under case #[redacted]. On July **, 2008 we then proceeded to resurface the driveway from the garage to the street, approximately 112 feet by 12 feet at no cost to the owner. The case was closed by Suffolk County Office of Consumers Affairs and a signed letter from the owner, Stephen Banks, was submitted to S.C.O.C.A. stating this. On July **, 2013 we went to seal the owners driveway at his request. We sealed the entire driveway and repaired some cracks. The charge should have been $445.00 but we agreed to only charged for materials and not labor, and to this day he refused to pay anything. D&B guarantees the work for the period of one year from the completion date. We feel that we did everything possible to satisfy the complaint. We feel t hat this complaint is without merit

Review: October, 2013, we contracted D & B Asphalt to install our drivway, walkway with pavers. I called the company to tell them they failed to put the sand on the pavers to prevent movement, [redacted] said he would be there within the week. Called again, same answer. Never showed up. Some of the border pavers have cracked, also the asphalt has some areas where it's crumbling. I have called them recently 4 times and left messages. Nobody has had the decency to return my calls. This work also comes with a year warantee. Please help.Desired Settlement: I would like the sand installed on the porch pavers, the cracked pavers replaced and the asphalt holes repaired.
