When our customer contacted us more than hours after delivery to complain of two scratches on his motorcycle we reminded him that we had photo documentation of these scratches at the time of delivery and that we would be glad to share these photos to assist him in pursuing the matter with the owner of the shop in Palm Desert, CAThe customer instead chose to instantly place blame on my company and threaten us with a fraudulent insurance claimWe again reminded our customer that we have the photo documentation of the scratches upon pickup, as well as our signed bill of lading stating the motorcycle was received WITHOUT transport damagesWe also reminded the customer that we had fulfilled all of the obligations of our contract with him, including: picking up and delivering his motorcycle on the specified dates (despite the fact that his motorcycle was not ready for pickup for nearly a month after his originally specified pickup date, we still rescheduled and accommodated his shipment), clear and concise communication with the shop owner, customer, and customers assigned representative for more than a month prior to pickup, the days leading up to pickup, the day of pickup (despite the customers refusal to respond to our phone call on the day of pickup and/or return our phone call for days), the days leading up to delivery, and the actual day of delivery, caring for the customers goods in the exact manner we were contracted to; in an enclosed trailer, soft-strapped into its own wheel chock with nothing close to it or touching it According to the standards set by our contract with the customer, my company had delivered a five-star transport experience, delivering on every facet of our agreementDespite this fact, our customer has chosen to falsely claim that we are somehow responsible for the two scratches that were present and documented on his motorcycle at the time of pickup and is maliciously damaging my company with negative ratings, statements, and fraudulent claims rather than accepting our offered help and use of our photo documentation to pursue this matter with the shop owner in Palm Desert, CAThis complaint with the Revdex.com is just one more example of the libel and slander that our customer is stooping to in an effort to try to force us to allow him to file a fraudulent claim with our insurance companyHad our customer not handled this matter in such a threatening and damagmg way to my company, we would still be happy to help him pursue this matter with the shop owner in Palm Desert, CA Again, my company delivered on our promise of a five-star transportation experienceWe have NEVER experienced these types of issues with any of our other customers in over ten years of working in this industryWe offer insurance coverage to all of our customers that have VALID claimsThis particular customer, however, does NOT have a valid claim and has been reminded of this fact countless timesPhoto documentation does not lienor does a signed bill of lading stating that the motorcycle was received WITHOUT transport damagesHis continued use of and unsubstantiated statements against my company is, in fact, a bullying tactic he is employing to corner us into allowing him to file a fraudulent insurance claim, that would accomplish nothing beyond being rejected by the insurance company based on the signed bill of lading and count against us at insurance renewalOnce the driver hands over the vehicle and walks away we are no longer responsible for its conditionAlso, the customer forgets to state in this version of his claim that he didn't personally inspect the bike for hours after it had been delivered, so the bike was out of our hands and anything could have happened to it which we again could not be responsible forHis story has a few other changes compared to the version he submitted to the uShip site At this time I would like to request that the customer cease with any further malicious and slanderous statements and/or fraudulent claims against my company, DBest Transport, LLC Sincerely, Kelly B [redacted] (Owner) DBest Transport, LLC Attached: Bill of Lading
