website shows one price, after purchasing was told double the price store would not honor priceordered 2 fender liners for a porsche gt2 from dc automotive website. price was 11$ with make offer option. I offered 75$ for the liners and ordered 2 other parts. total was 278$ after 5 days of no communication I emailed for tracking info. email returned was we don't have the parts the price is now double at 145$ each. I called and was told by the counter sales that he has known for yrs the website is often wrong and nothing he can do. I asked to speak to higher authority. [redacted] answers and says refund is all he will do. since a contract was made and I paid for said goods I asked for the parts at the price accepted by the company. he refused and says he doesn't want my business. pure bait and switch. paid on 8/24 by c/c immediately after checking out. I feel if they advertise parts acept payment they should honor the contract since they have made no effort to correct it on their websiteDesired Settlementi feel they should ship the parts ordered at the price agreed upon and promptly paid forBusiness Response /[redacted]/Sir it was your Attitude that ejected you from our customer list; If you had treated my staff or myself with more respect I would have taken the part off my OWN car so as to keep you in the fold. But you were abusive, vulgar, and bullying, I do not tolerate that for my staff or myself. Consumer Response /[redacted]/Your response has nothing to do with my complaint other than to try to lay blame on anyone other than you. You entered into an agreement and accepted payment only to then require more money to complete a sale. You sir are a distrustful businessman. This is not resolvedFinal Business Response /[redacted], we are talking about two different things, we did not bait and switch you, we offered a used part on the website, when it was discovered it was not available, we offered to get you a new part, MOST people appreciate the effort and are content to buy the new part at the new part price so they can get on with their car. You however decided you were entitled to the new part at the used part price, we cannot do this, then you became abusive and bullying since we would not comply. And then of course this silly complaint to the Revdex.com.All for what?This complaint will not be resolved since we will not do business with people who are abusive.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Again you resort to personal attacks to try to explain your actions. Your website advertises new,used,and salvage parts. Yet when looking up a part you use new car parts diagrams and show no info for the consumer to identify the condition of the part. You may think this is silly but I don't . This is for the public to see and the many car forums I'm a member of to show people your practices and your lack of customer service. You advertise items you don't have a accept payment for parts you don't have you have zero customer communication until The customer has to contact you THEN you offer a higher price for the same item. That sir is not the way to run s company
