dry cleaner on March 10, 2016.[redacted] then stated that up on her arriving home she noticed her nice [redacted] black pants was ripped on the leg. However; she never came back to the store to make any complain about ittill March 21, 2016. For 11 days, she has not attempted to make a call or reach us or stop by toshow us proof of her complain. Let alone, when she showed up on March 21, 2016; she did not even have her receipt on her. She started her conversation in a very rude manner by asking thecashier to print out her last transaction of dry cleaner service. The cashier has assisted her basedon her phone number and he did print out the receipt. Imagine that she is asking for her receipton a service done l l days ago.Once she got her receipt in her hand, she started accusing both of the cashiers at front even though one of them is assisting another customer at the time and was not part of herconversation. She stated: “You guys damaged my cloth”. The two cashiers were confused by herinappropriate behavior and took caution in speaking to her further because they were confused ofher demand but she falsely accused them of laughing at her on her letter. Then she requested to speak to a manager. The cashier who would not know how to satisfy an angry rude woman needs and confused by the way she was approaching them and how simple the case was if she wascooperating; came and asked for my attention. I went to speak to her at the front and immediately noticed she was addressing her concern unprofessionally but I continued listening to her. In herstatement, she stated that her pant was damaged and I should pay for it.Appropriately I have asked her for her receipt. She presented a receipt. At that moment, thecashier stated that he just gave her that receipt and she never had one coming in. She replied that is the last time she came here. I asked her for the original receipt and she stated she does nothave it and she stated this one shows I gave you guy my cloth. I replied that the receipt can onlyshow me how many clothes and not the detail of what kind of cloth therefore I needed the tag receipt attached to the pant to verify the pant. [redacted] responded: “this morning when she tried to wear it she took it out and don’t have it anymore and that is when she noticed the rip ordamage”. If she has noticed a damage already why would she pill off of the tag receipt? Unlessshe wore the pant or was going to wear the pant anyway. She may have damaged it as well upon her removing the tag receipt as the tag receipt should be removed sensitively. I asked her once ifshe can locate the tag receipt since it would be hard for me to even prove if the pant was everwashed at our department. She has no receipt, no tag receipt and no personal demeanor to myemployees or myself. The whole time and all she wanted us to do was pay since we are supposed to pay for damaged clothes. She sounds more like she may have done this before at another store.[redacted] had no receipt, no tag receipt from the pant and no proof we ever had cleaned her pant. She came 11 days after picking up her clothes and she took out the tag herselfup on wearing it in the morning of March 21, 2016. In addition, no one ever told her I was thestore owner; instead she assumed I was which I am not and I was only a manager on duty andtrying to help her with all I can, Mind you that she has not been professional to any of our employees or myself the whole time. I am amazed she has the tenacity to complain when wetried to help her in all we can with her cooperation. She left the store unhappy but there was nothing we can do for her or for her pant we never damaged or for her pant that we don’t even have a clue if it was ever dry cleaned in our store. She already admitted she took the tag off and she saw the tear. Why would she throw the tag receipt or wait 11 days if she knew that. In addition, clients are supposed to count and look for their cloth quantity and quality prior to living the store. It was a bizarre accusation and confusing person that we had to accommodate and wedid. Unfortunately, it was not enough for her.
