I emailed [redacted] back this evening telling him that our office was closed due to the [redacted] holidayWe set up the automated email incorrectly so he didn't get the email which says we're not in the officeI apologized for the inconvenience and asked [redacted] when he'd like to come pick up his stuff

Ariel called my phone last week and left a message regarding a move of hersShe also mentioned something about a worker named JoshWe never moved this woman and have no one in our company named JoshAfter hearing her message I called her back and left her a message stating that she has the wrong company and that we never moved herShe then went to the Revdex.com to file a complaint about usPlease note that we never spoke to or provided services for this woman.Thank you

'm sorry that ***'s move didn't go the way she wanted but I'd like to explain what happened that day:We arrived at ***'s house in the morning and provided her with a revised estimate because her move was larger than we anticipatedWe estimated about hours of labor and $for packing materials [redacted] called the office and said she was sorry that she had more things to move and asked if there was anyway we could help out with the priceI told her that I could reduce the packing supplies to an estimated $(a 40% discount) but that the hourly rate couldn't be discountedShe agreed to the terms and the movers began their workWhen the movers arrived at ***'s new home she tried to get additional discountsI authorized an additional $discountAfter much complaining, she agreed to charge her card $ gave us her boyfriend's card to charge another $This was declinedWe told her she could pay the rest in case or put the balance on her card but she insisted she didn't have the moneyAfter much back and forth of nickel-and-diming us for more discounts (hr and mins later of charging, recharging, phone calls back and forth) our movers were very tired and told her that without proper payment, they would be unloading her stuff into the garage but they wouldn't be able to stay to reassemble the furniture without being paid for the timeRegarding the ($5,000??!!) treadmill, we have pictures of it showing that it was beaten up before we moved itUnfortunately, [redacted] doesn't allow me to attach this photoAfter [redacted] posted this review, I called her to try and work with herI offered to come the following morning to help move the rest of the stuff from the garage into the house and reassemble the furniture, at no extra costWhile speaking to her, she also mentioned the "broken" treadmillI asked her if she re-assembled and she said she "not yet", she just tried to plug it in as is...no wonder it seemed brokenI told her I'd gladly help her with that treadmill when I cameFive minutes after we got off the phone, she text messaged (blackmailed) me that if I don't give her $back she would keep her start reviewAlso, in her review she mentions that we charged her an additional $1,without her authorizationI'm not sure what she's referring to since her move cost a total of $1,and we have signed credit card slips for the chargesAt the end of the day, she received a 40% discount on the materials and an additional $on top of thatMy company was upfront and honest from the beginning

Dear [redacted] ,I'm sorry for any inconveniences DC Pro Movers may have caused youI appreciate you bringing this to my attentionRegarding the packing supplies- our emails clearly state which furniture pieces have to be wrapped and provide a packing supplies price list attachedIf you thought our prices were expensive, you could have supplies your own materialsAlso, the quality of the supplies we use are much better than Home DepotOur main concern is to make sure that your belongings are very well protectedRegarding the moving time, it was icey and snowy outside and both locations had elevators and there was walking distance from the loading dock to the elevator and to your doorsAlso, the protection and caution that we use towards your furniture (while wrapping them) takes a bit longer than other companies as wellI answered my phone as a locksmith because I work as a locksmith on the side and you called my personal cell phoneAlso, sending out a moving truck full of someone's belongings vs a 4xSUV is very differentOn the same day, I had many other people call me and request our last minute moving services because their moving company cancelled on them due to bad weather conditionsI refused those jobs and when you called and said you needed to move that day, I took a risk and sent out the truckYou mentioned that you weren't given an itemized list of the packing supplies usedIf you want, I can send you the list of everything that was usedAdditionally, I'd be happy to refund your card $to solve this matterAgain, I'm sorry for the frustration this move may have caused youI wish you would have contacted us before going to ***I'm happy to solve this with you directly

I had to relocate my grandmother from her house to a very small apartment, a very nice lady name Luna was very helpful, understanding my needs and was able to advise me with a storage option until we figure out what to do with all the extra furniture that didn't fit insideThe movers were on time and help us with the packing of the furiture as I didn't have the extra time to do it myselfI was looking at the movers while they were packing everything and can only say thank you as they took great care of every item as it was their own! I had to pay extra for the materials and packing but it was explained to me and it's understandable, I wanted to make sure that everything was protected as the furniture and belongings had great memories and are very important to my grandmotherIf you want to make double sure, make it right the 1st timebetter be safe then sorry and pay a little extraThere were no hidden charges and I was asked before they did anything to get my approvalOver all, a very pleasant moveIt was extra important because of my elderly grandmother needsWill hire them again and defiantly recommend! Great people that understand basic human needs and pay extra attention to details

From: DC Pro Movers Date: Thu, Apr 23, at 10:AMSubject: Response to complaint # [redacted] To: [redacted] < [redacted] @myRevdex.com.org>First I'd like to apologize on behalf of DC Pro Movers for any inconveniences we may have caused youOn the day of the move, our large truck had some technical problemsInstead of cancelling your move, I called the customer to inform them that we would be sending them a smaller truckThey agreed to thisThey then called me back saying that they didn't want a smaller truck and would like to cancel the servicesI informed them multiple times that if a second trip is needed that they wouldn't be charged for that timeA few minutes later, I called the customer back to inform that they I would be able to rent a large truck but because the movers were already on their way (per their initial request and agreement on), there would be a small delayThe customer decided to cancel the move anyhowThe customer was informed of the cancellation fee by email (which they signed) and again over the phone when they confirmed that they didn't want the services anymoreAt this time, I'd be happy to credit the account $but this is the best I can doI still have to pay my workers who went on on the job, per their request.Thank you
