Car was working fine before I took it in As soon as I started the car I could tell something was off
I took my *** Honda *** to Sharp Honda for a timing belt replacement in the middle of *** As soon as I paid for my bill and started the car, I noticed the car was acting funny On the way home from the dealership, the car died multiple times at stop lights and stop signs I called the dealership back within minutes of taking the car and told them the issue They had me bring it back and told me it was a vacuum leak and it had nothing to do with the timing job I took it in a second time and they blamed it on the throttle cable, mentioning that the timing was still fineI took the car back a third time and they flat out told there was nothing they could do because they did their job with the timing I was scared to drive the car because dying at stop lights and stop signs could potentially put me and other motorists in danger I decided to take the car to

My first experience at Sharp Honda was incredibleI had been made aware that the exact vehicle I was looking to purchase was on their lot (hard to find make and model)While walking through the lot, I wasn't hunted down or even watchedWhen I was ready to speak to someone I was able to enter the store-front and ask for assistanceThis itself was very relaxing
*** was the salesman that worked with meHe was very kind, and wanted to hear what I was looking for and what mattered to meI did not receive the pushy "sell you a car right now" treatment you tend to get from dealershipsHe made sure to build up a positive relationship with me and stuck with me through the entire sales processWhile waiting for the finance officer, *** sat in the waiting room with me and kept me entertained with conversation versus heading out to find another sale
The dealership price-matched another offer I had received and gave me the price I asked for my trawith no questionsThey did not try to talk me downThey respected the hardwork I had put in to negotiate the price I was willing to pay for the carThey also kept everything open and on the table upfrontI was made aware of all the costs and where they were coming from on the invoiceNever once did I find something I wasn't made aware of from the very beginning
Four things that stood out to me:
The dealership has an open environmentYou can see everyone and everythingThere is no hiding having conversations employee to employee
There is comradery between the fellow salesmen and entire staffThey all checked on each other and were interested in each other's success
I was a woman, alone, there to buy a carI never once was talked-down to or made to feel like I was in a man's worldI felt trusted and I was valued
The most important thing: The sales manager came out and directly talked to meHe didn't stay hidden away in an office like the banker on "Deal or No Deal."
The deal was closed within 20-minutes and I was in awe that after weeks of shopping and dealing with stressful negotiating, I was driving home in my dream car stress freeI wish I had went to Sharp Honda firstI traveled from out of town because my own local Honda dealer fell below the standards I believe are necessary for any business to operate

My *** vehicle is currently under a recall for BOTH front airbagsI spoke with *** on *** and they noted that since I am more than miles away from an *** dealership that I may take my car to the local Honda dealership*** informed me I needed to contact Honda and inform the service manager of my situation and they would be able to contact *** to get the part order details and allow me to use a rental car until the car is repairedI contacted the service manager the same day, ***The service manager stated he would get this taken care ofTWO MONTHS later, I had not heard back from either partyI then reached out again on/around *** *** noted that they would "expedite" my case due to the fact it had been such a length of timeThey informed me to call the Honda service manager again and have him contact *** to get these parts orderedThe Honda servi
