I had agreed to purchase a vehicle that I was told had a navigation system which, it turned out, it did not Then I was told that at no additional charge a navigation system would be installed, but that I would need to purchase the vehicle then bring it back to install an "after market" device, not necessarily comparable to Honda's system I offered as an alternative to purchase the vehicle without the system at a reduced price, and the dealer agreed The dealer knew I was to pay by check and that I was not interested in financing I asked about making purchase with check after banks were closed and was told that was fine I once again went to dealer to purchase the vehicle and was told they wouldn't sell it to me unless I financed it

Review: I showed up knowing exactly what I wanted, and having checked their stock online – 2015 Fit. They showed me one that had a cargo cover. I assumed this was standard equipment because it was on the VW Golf I had owned previously. Turned out they had just sold that car to someone else, and offered me a deal on “the same car” in a different colour. I drove the car, took delivery, and ran some errands. I was surprised when I got to the grocery store and there was no cargo cover. I called back the store, got the run around, so I showed up in person. I was assured that they don't put that on any of their cars and that I was basically making the whole thing up, which, I don't think I did because I remember very specific details about the design of the cover. They met a manager who said he would look into it and gave me a number to call him at the following day. I called him, he never bothered to call me back. I got in touch the the sales guy who had sold me the car, who did some more digging, and came back with the same story. They eventually offered to sell me a cargo cover at cost, but I shopped around online and found it for $50 cheaper.

The bottom line is, I'm not sure if they're dishonest or just incompetent. Things went smoothly with the sale and I was treated very well at the time, but so far I haven't been happy with the after care.Desired Settlement: theyve made it clear they aren't willing to correct the situation, although the ideally I think they should pay for the cargo lid.
