Today Oct 7, they fix the problem without charge, I close my complain to Honda TemeculaThank you to everybody who follow up this case

I HAVE RESPONDED TO THIS COMPLAINT AND HEARD NOTHING BACKI HAVE OFFERED TO FIND A VEHICLE FOR THIS CLIENT THAT WOULD FIT HIS NEEDS AND COSTSINCE THE TIME THAT THIS OCURRRED AT A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP (NOT DCH HONDA BUT DCH ACURA)THE VEHICLE SOLDDCH HONDA OF TEMECULA DID NOT HAVE THIS VEHICLE SO
WE ARE UNABLE TO HAVE A COMPLAINT FILED AGAINST US

I am rejecting this response because: it is just a ploy to avoid taking responsibility for their laziness and greedWhy would my mechanic perform another diagnostic on my car when it had, literally, just left the HONDA dealership, where their techs should be HONDA EXPERTS, who said it was the transmissionMy mechanic assumed that Honda was a decent, reliable, honest company and went about removing the transmission believing that was the issueHe then inspected the transmission once it was taken out of the vehicle and said it was in great condition, the fluids were completely clean and no repairs were necessary to itTHAT is how I know that Honda's diagnostic was incorrect and /or never even done, and they just guessedI have all copies of invoices for work performed and also mechanic commentsBoth of my mechanics at the shop I went to are willing to provide a statement to to their findingsI am out over $dollars extra because of Honda's deceitI even close the invoice to show proof that Hondas actions were incorrectYou can clearly see on the invoice where it shows that they took out the old transmission, replaced it with a new one, and that it was having the same problemIt clearly states the transmission is not the problem It also States underneath it that it was the flywheel which was the problem and if Honda bothered to do the diagnostic at all they would have found that to be the caseOn the enclosed invoice you can see that I was charged for labor twice because they removed the transmission the initial time to replace it with a new one and then had to remove it all again when they discovered that Honda's diagnostic was incorrect and the transmission ended up not being the problemYou can also see the attached credit card receipt showing that it was paid in full or I would not have gotten my car backI paid an extra $for labor for no reasonOn top of the $that I paid for a diagnostic that was very clearly never done These large businesses should not be allowed to take advantage of unsuspecting customers who are putting their trust in them

THE CUSTOMER DECIDED TO NOT HAVE US PERFORM THE WORK AT OUR FACILITYTHIS PARTY THEN TOOK THE VEHICLE TO ANOTHER PLACE TO HAVE THE REPAIRS COMPLETEDAT THIS TIME THE FACILITY THAT IS PERFORMING THE REPAIRS SHOULD HAVE PERFORMNED THEIR OPWN DIAGNOSTICIN NO BUSINESS WILL A PLACE TAKE THE WORD OF
SOMEONE ELSES AND BEGIN REPAIRS
WOULD A DOCTOR PEROFORM SURGERY ON A PATIENT WITHOUT PERFORMING HIS/HER OWN OBSERVATION? WOULD THEY TAKE THE WORD OF ANOTHER PERSON?
ADDITIONALLY, HOW DO WE KNOW THAT THE DIAGNOSIS ON THE VEHICLE STILL WAS NOT CORRECT AND THE OTHER SHOP IS INCORRECT

I am rejecting this response because: The vehicle in question was advertised through DCH Honda of Temecula not DCH Acura of Temecula.  I still have copies of the original email that was sent to me from the internet sales manager of DCH Honda of Temecula (John Wall). What they obviously do not realize from my experience with them, was my displeasure of the bait and switch of the advertised price that I received from their internet sales manager.  The price I was quoted was for $14,000.00 for a 2013 Honda Accord EX.  What I received from the dealership was a quote for $16,900.00. after I drove over an hour from Costa Mesa, CA to Temecula, CA.  I have since purchased another vehicle and will not ever want to purchase a vehicle from this company.  I feel that my complaint is a valid complaint to the business practice of this company.  Yes, I did receive an email from Daniel Galant of DCH Honda of Temecula requesting me to contact him to see if they can accommodate me with another vehicle.  I had no intention of purchasing a vehicle from this dealership after my experience with the Honda in question.  I consider this matter closed on my part but I do believe that the complaint I filed is a valid complaint of the DCH Honda of Temecula and not DCH Acura of Temecula, since all email correspondence I received was from DCH Honda of Temecula.
