On December 12,I went to DHC Lexus of Oxnard dealership shopping prices for my next Lexus leaseI sat down with C*** Canon to discuss the price and if they could match the numbers I was given at another dealershipHe spoke with his manager and came back to tell me they were going to match the deal from the other dealershipHe told me that they did not have the car I wanted but that it was going to arrive within a few days after my visit and that I could make a deposit, so they would hold the car for me in case I wanted itI asked him if I changed my mind I was going to get my money back and he stated that they would give me my money back in case I changed my mind, or anything changedHe charged the amount of $1,dollars for the deposit to my credit cardsI left the dealership thinking that I was going to get the vehicle from themI got home minutes later, and I was looking at the numbers he printed out for me and it said cash out the door was $5,which didn’

I purchased a Lexus GXfrom DCH Lexus of Oxnard on 6/14/one month to the day from todayI purchased it with money I have been saving in my 401k for years and took a loan on specifically so I could purchase a fun vehicle in cashI went approximately miles one way to be able to make this purchase from a Lexus dealer as they should have access to any and all technical service bulletins or TSB's and ensure anything that is wrong with the vehicle that it is fixed or up to date prior to the sale of the vehicleI feel if it was not perfect being Lexus and their 'pursuit of perfection' why risk your reputation is what I figured, if it wasn't perfect I would have figured they would have sent it on to auctionI picked up the vehicle that same dayI notified them on the test drive of a chip in the windshieldIt was ignored, however it was not a deal breaker, the under carriage, the engine everything appeared to be goodSo I proceeded with the purchase of the vehicleI made

Review: I purchased a vehicle about 2 months ago. DCH Lexus promised to pay my old loan off at trade-in. I traded my VW GTI in for a Lexus IS and about a month ago I received a bill from VW Credit saying I owe them $3800. I called and talked to [redacted] & [redacted]. I left mark about 5 or so messages with no call back. I called and spoke with [redacted]s and he said "yes, this is our mistake, but you have to pay that amount to VW". He didn't sound sympathetic to the situation and didn't even offer any other help. I contacted Lexus corportate offices and they advised me since its something with the sale of the vehicle it would have to be with the dealership. The dealership should have called on the correct loan. I did inform my sales agent Kelvin about me having 2 loans with VW credit. It's not my fault that they called on the wrong loan. I am going to take this up with the FTC and the FCBA if this doesn't get resolved now. I get the run around every time I talk to the dealership. I was happy to get a higher end vehicle, but now I will NEVER own another Lexus again.Desired Settlement: I would like DCH Lexus to pay the remaining balance to VW credit. Usually when you trade in a car the balance of your old loan gets paid off, not on this transaction. The dealership lied.

Review: I must say that our sales person [redacted] was wonderful to work with. He was upfront and honest with us through the selection process. The problem began when we went to sign our contract. I was prepared to pay for our car with cash but wanted to build credit by getting a loan through my credit union. I explained what my intentions were and was assured by Sam Masri that we would have a week to secure financing before he processed the credit application. Unfortunately that was not true, the application was processed the same day as the contract was signed. My credit union sent a check for the full price of the car overnight to the dealership so it would arrive on the contracted date August 5. The Fed-EX package was received on Aug. 5 at 10am by D Mercado. Mr. [redacted] did not recognize the signer however, it is his receptionist at the dealership. August 6, I received a contract and bill for my fist payment.I called the number for Toyota Financial Services I was told by Ryan that the paperwork was submitted July 29. I then called [redacted] (GM) he apologized for the confusion and stated that this situation would be handled by one of his staff August 12. He also said that they would back out the loan from Toyota Financial Services. The staff member was to have contacted me about this August 12. No contact was made the loan is still out there and nothing has been resolved. I find it suspicious that I am the only person this has ever happened according to GM to and that this action was not intentional. The dealerships disregard for our contract is unethicalDesired Settlement: I would like the dealership to remove the loan from my name at the very least and would expect an explanation of why & how this total disregard for the contract and unethical action occurred.
