I contacted MR [redacted] after he left me a message and very transparently explained how used car values fluctuate with the market conditions and supply and demand; in addition I explained to him how we based our repurchase price on and how we look at current market conditions daily, I went ahead and offered him a little more than the original estimate trying to maintain a satisfied customerUnfortunately Mr [redacted] is not satisfied with the price we're offering him and as he mentioned to me he has been to few dealers and still not been able to get the price he wantedI'm always available if he would like to discuss this matter with me any furtherWe apologize for any inconvenience this matter has caused [redacted]

This situation had been resolved, the DMV had issued a title and was sent to the Washington address on
10/04/according to the DMV records
I apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because: Mr*** completely ignores the fact that his dealership committed fraud in inducing the initial purchase This fraud occurred by DCH's representative falsely representing that the vehicle was being sold to me for what his dealership paid for the vehicle to the vehicle's previous owner Had the representation that was made been true, the vehicle would have been sold for significantly less than what I was charged Further, the price that I am being offered by DCH for the vehicle is as much as $less than that offered by other Lexus dealerships This offer further underlines DCH's sharp business practices

As current owner of an LS400 and IS300 I was happy to hear there would finally be a dealer in Santa Barbara, so I didn't have to drive to horrible and shady dch Lexus of oxnard where I was sold a GS with odometer fraud. So to hear the Santa Barbara dealer was also owned by dch I was optimistic that maybe this locations service would be on a higher standard because of the level of clientele in Santa Barbara but then I got there it was clearly a smaller mini clone of the oxnard dealer with even some of the same shady faces from the oxnard dealer with the same unlexus like customer service. I allways try to get thru to parts or service department which is pretty much impossible because its only one person running both departments apparently so the only way to get thru is if u call and yell at the operator and demand to speak to somebody and not be but on hold forever. And even if you do get thru they're too busy or never have any parts in stock they will just tell you its discontinued, but if I go on eBay I can find the parts im looking for brand new from plenty if other Lexus dealers shipped to my door. I would not recommend this dealer for anything if you want the true Lexus experience its worth it to make the trip to Lexus of Beverly Hills where I have had many great experiences, or even longo Lexus in elmonte is better.

Review: On or about June 1, 2014, I contacted DCH Lexus regarding the purchase of a 2013 Lexus GS 350 automobile. During the negotiations it was represented, both orally and by producing a written document, that DCH paid $41,000 for the vehicle I was negotiating. Based upon these oral and written representations I purchased the vehicle for $41000. But for these representations I would not have purchased the vehicle. On or about January 1, 2015 I contacted DCH indicating that the car did not meet my needs. During that conversation DCH offered a mere $32000 for the vehicle, $9000 less than the price it represented it purchased the vehicle for a mere 6 month before. On January 21, 2015 I spoke with one of DCH's sales agents who admitted that DCH did not pay $41,000 for the vehicle but some substantially lesser amount. Based upon the foregoing, DCH committed fraud through affirmative misrepresentations in the sale of the vehicle. Further, when I contacted the General Manager, he refused to return my contact. Finally, DCH, following its fraud, attempted to purchase the vehicle substantially below its market value so that it could add to its ill-gotten gains.Desired Settlement: I would like DCH to rescind the transaction and have DCH repurchase the vehicle for its purchase price less a reasonable amount for the mileage driven.
