DCP Contracting, LLC

David S[redacted] and Chris A[redacted] of DCP contracting did work in my home in Feb. 2015. Today I am having most of it redone as it is so amateur and unprofessional looking. They removed tile and replaced with new tile. They prepared the grout wrong so instead of a beige looking grout mine is multi colored from white to brown through out the house. They forgot to order the new tile so we sat with no floors for over a week. They put the wrong color on the cabinets so they are very dark and make the rest of the project look horrible. The crown moulding on kitchen cabinets is such horrible workmanship (done by Chris A[redacted]) that it doesn't match the cabinets and it is falling down along with the end panels they put on the cabinets (falling down too ). Davids dad (Ron) ordered new door hardware and misquoted the price by $200. No apologies and no adjustments. It took him 4 hours to install four new door handles and he forgot to put on the plates that go with it. These guys were impossible to secure a schedule with since they are such poor communicators. We would discuss different aspects of the project and by the next day they would have forgotten. They did have an R.O.C. # and my husband specifically asked if they were licensed to do all of the work we wanted done. David said YES. I later found out he only had a painting license and he was in my home illegally as he was not licensed to do the work at that time. In my opinion David and Chris created a mess of my home and David is so arrogant and difficult to work with that I would NEVER recommend him to anyone!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. The owner R** is not a nice man. He is unprofessional in many aspects. He answered his phone in the middle of our conversation and began yelling about firing an employee on his other job site. He also told me he gets special pricing where he gets his materials but marked up the cost dramatically as to where I should have just bought the materials myself.
