Carpet seam was installed in wrong area, seam and carpet have come apart, carpet is falling apart in 2 locations.
I purchased carpet in 4/2011.....At the time the carpet was installed I complained about the seam being placed in a high traffic area...I was told not to worry, by the installer and told there was a warrenty. In 2/2012 the seam started coming apart, them the carpet started "unwinding". I called spoke to [redacted] and she said she would have [redacted] call me back...I waited one week,,he never called...I called and left a message for [redacted], he never called me back, I called again and spoke to [redacted]...she apoligized and said she would have him call me. Another week went by and I called and spoke to another manager...he said he would help me and said lets set up an appointment for someone to come and look at it. Long story short, I made 3 appointments and no one showed all three times...My husband and I had to take time off of work. After the third time I called very upset and asked for [redacted] to call me, he did call and apoligize...and promised he would find someone to come look at the carpet...I told him I was concerned because my 1 year warrenty was almost up...and I wanted something in writing stating that if this is not taken care of or I have problems with the seam again that they would cover it....he laughed and told me not to worry....that everytime a person comes and repairs the carpet that they would extend it another 12 months, I said OK..I received a call from Antiono...he set an appointment and did show up ( this was before my 1 year warrenty was up)....he said that the first installer did NOT install the carpet properly and thats why the seam and carpet are coming apart. They said they would try and fix it and set aother appointment. They did return but when they finished the carpet looked worst...they said their wasnt enough carpet to work with and they did the best they could...the seam looks comes apart (you can see padding) and the pattern doesnt match up.( I had to leave the house before they finished....when I came home I was very upset and called [redacted]..he said he would talk to the owner [redacted]. 2 months later and 10 messages left for them...nothing has been done and now my warrenty is expired (the original 12 months)...I called Corp. and they said they would talk to them....Corp never called me back, I did receive a letter from [redacted] saying they will not repair or replace because the warrenty has expired. I called Corp again and they said there was nothing they could do but they would talk to [redacted].
This is no way to do business!!!!
